🐾 🐈 Wednesday update on Kitty: despite eye drops every 4 hours & eye ointment every 2, Kitty seems to love to eat!!!!! May be his only enjoyment at the moment, poor thing has been thru so much. Here's a great shot enjoying a meal at his foster home with Alyssa Fisher & Valerie Ogle. Grateful to them for taking him on, with more than expected to monitor. Incision from neuter as well, needs checking to be sure it's healing properly. Unexpected cryporchid condition led to more involved neuter.

Next steps/Plan 🐾: next Monday, Kitty will have his weekly recheck at Connecticut Veterinary Center with Dr Cox. Rechecks will be frequent at first to ensure there are no setbacks with the eye's healing. At the recheck, if he still needs drops every 4 hours or new med added or more involved care- he'll stay at his foster home. 🤔 but if the eye has improved enough to be able to go to drops even 3 x day, his rescue will be able to accommodate that & he'll go right there from the vet. 🙏 pray for healing for poor sweet Kitty. 🐾

3.14 it's pi day
If anyone feels up to donating $3.14 to Marla’s Community medical fund today, I'll match u.

We are padding the fund for this guy. Whenever he decides to get trapped.
I have a lovely $500 donation pending his arrival. And i believe another wonderful $50.
But his care will exceed that.

He will need an eye exam, shots, snap testing, bloodwork, neuter if he's medically cleared for it pending other results. This will all add up quickly.

🐾 HELP NEEDED 🐾
I've never asked this so hopefully those reading will know what this help would mean to me.

Can someone please collaborate with the hard working Karin Grace with this very savvy cat named kitty - to trap him?

She has gone nearly daily and has tried so hard.

Suggestions have included:
A drop trap which she is physically unable to manage herself
A much larger trap

I know nothing about trapping. Bridgeport area. If I tag you please don't feel obligated to physically go assist - just perhaps conference with Karin for ideas?

My ignorant questions-
Is it good to leave out multiple food options?
Should she change up time of day totally?
Should she try drop trap?
Should she try much larger trap & covered?

She will know the specifics of what she's tried. She's pouring her heart and time into this and needs assistance. I understand many don't think the eye is an emergency. My concern is too much longer and it can become one. She said the outdoors is rough for him that he keeps getting beaten up out there. My vets office is waiting for him. 24 7. Thank u.

🐾 Awaiting word once trapped. Karin Grace is trying to help Kitty. A shy but friendly cat she says recently showed up where she feeds, with a bad eye injury. Poor kitty has no rescue yet or place to go after the vet. 🙏

Kicho & Koreo's Comfort is happy to share this cat house with My Bella TNR. Sunday pick up.
It's from Chewy & was donated to me after a recent product liability complaint where the carpet pieces from a new cat tree i ordered were falling off, and Ozi could have swallowed them had I not been there to remove them from his mouth. I had promised to build Sarai a shelter but I was unable to because Styrofoam pieces were too difficult to manage inside the house. Was so happy to be able to keep my promise to get her one shelter.
Also included is a bag of towels/blankets, some plastics for feeding, some cans of food , bag of dry, , 2 disposable litter boxes and newspaper.
🐾 all this and my community medical fund are in loving memory of the best brother/sister cat pair ever, Kicho & Koreo

Update- ER got overly busy and isnt able to accommodate the 5 at this time. Earlier was better for them. Will try again for tomorrow evening.

**help needed tonight **
5 cats have an opportunity to go to a rescue asap but they need to get some initial vetting at Connecticut Veterinary Center thru Marla's community medical fund.

Can anyone transport them from Coventry to west hartford , wait with them, and drive them back this evening so they can go to their rescue? They are fitting them in despite emergency only hours. Tomorrow day isn't an option. You'd be doing a great deed. Rescuer Valerie Ogle is ill and not able to make the trip.

Donna Truhn has 2 sudden owner surrendered dogs in her care. In a motel. No rescues stepped in yet. 6 and 4. Bonded. Friendly.

I'm trying to raise enough for basic rabies and distemper for them. Have $115 so far! Anyone wish to pledge an amount let me know and I'll give u the green light to call it into Connecticut Veterinary Center once I confirm nothing else has happened sooner (ie a rescue backing )
