Hello friends, it's Round 2 of kitten season and they're coming out of the woodworks! We have two sweet kittens looking for their forever right now, both were found by volunteers who are holding them until a new home is found.
The first is a fiery Tortie affectionately known as Little Bits. She's very sweet, playful, and beautiful. Free of fleas and other parasites, and gets along well with other cats.
Next is a gorgeous little siamese-mix bobtailed male we're calling Skye. He was found severely emaciated but completely free of ticks and fleas - possibly hitched a ride in someone's car, although no one has claimed him. He is outrageously sweet, has just had his well kitten checkup and passed with flying colors. His tail is a bit... unusual. We are unsure if it is a genetic deformation or if he was injured, but it is about half length and terminates in a little puff of fur. Upon inspection, you can feel that the bones are forming a bit of a P shape at the end of his tail.
Both are available now. Please respond on this page or message Ozark Regional Cats outreach & support for more information or to meet them!
More pictures of both in the comments!

Urgent home needed! Friends, this little fellow was found crying his head off in the rain last night. No houses were near (aside from the finder) and no mama cat was seen. He had a visit with the vet this morning, where it was determined that he is only about 4 weeks old. He is now receiving treatment for an eye infection and parasites but appears to be in good health. His finder cannot keep him and is desperately seeking a good home for him. If you can help, please contact Margit at 417-372-1893 (note that she works during the day and, while she will check her messages, she may not be able to respond until after 6pm).
Please share so we can get as many eyes on this as possible!

Posting for a friend of the page: These 4 kittens (two males and 2 tabby females ) were dropped off at our house and need homes. The two tabbies are especially lovable; the male "Siamese" is a beauty. The black male is an amazing tree climber! They are "outside" cats that love to play and tumble with each other. If you can't be tempted, please pass this posting on to your friends!

SECOND UPDATE: Sweet Sparkle is now being boarded at the Animal Clinic of West Plains, Inc.. She has been there since last week and is sad and scared and desperate for a permanent home. Her previous owner passed away suddenly and the person who was caring for her temporarily has moved to a managed care facility, so there was no option to keep her. Please help if you can, this poor soul has had so much loss and turmoil in her life recently, she just needs a quiet, caring home. The good news is that she is now up-to-date on all of her vaccinations and has had a complete health check. She's also spayed and litter box trained. Call the Animal Clinic for more information about here: 417-256-6145

UPDATE: Poor Sparkle's situation is more urgent than ever. Her current caretaker moves to a facility on Wednesday and has been desperately looking for a new home for her, but no luck yet. Please help if you can - even a temporary foster situation would be acceptable at this point.
Original post: Urgent Home Needed! This green-eyed beauty is about 8 years old and is very friendly. Sadly, her owner recently died and the person caring for her now will be moving to a facility where no pets are allowed on Wednesday, September 13th. She has already found homes for the others, but thils little girl named Sparkles is still waiting for her new forever home.
Sparkles is spayed and had her annual rabies boosters up until 2021, when she became a strictly indoor cat.
From her caretaker: she loves attention, laying on your belly, chest, or lap, has a soft meow when she wants attention but not annoying and gives up easily if you’re busy. She can be playful and energetic. Very soft fur and a shorthair so easy care. She’s been around other cats but usually doesn’t mingle and hisses when they are around. Probably will do better in a one cat family. Please help if you can, she's been through a lot recently but we'd love for her to find her purrfect home!
Contact Betty to adopt her at 417-505-0527 and be sure to post here so we know when she finds her new home!

URGENT PLACEMENT NEEDED FOR DILUTE CALICO WITH SASSY PERSONALITY

⭐️Before sharing this (THANK YOU, by the way) make sure to either click the option to include the original post, or copy and paste the original text to include on your share, otherwise your followers will just see a picture of a cute cat.⭐️

Danielle is a 9-year-old dilute calico with a strong personality in need of a home without children or other pets ASAP. Her pet human is moving into assisted living and cannot take Danielle along.

Danielle's likes: Pretending she wants pets and getting annoyed when it happens, wet food, sitting outside or (we prefer, as she's declawed) in the window.

Danielle's dislikes: Being told no, being touched without invitation, and people in general.

She really is quite pleasant to get along with, so long as you accept that you are coexisting on her terms, lol.

If interested, send a message to Rae Hess or email [email protected].

Here is a picture of what a dilute calico looks like, to be replaced with a photo of Danielle, herself, in all her glory, as soon as we can get one:
