We got to spend the day with Madison South Elementary for their April Ram Rally!! It was super fun for the animals and the kids!

Beth fooled us today, and had her first egg.
Beth & Ren are first time parents! Just trying to figure it out.
The male, Ren, will prepare a nest, roll the egg into it, and sit on it for 2 months. That's what we hope he does....we will see.

Since Harper finally decided to have her calf, we finally made it to Ramseyers Farm in Smithville, OH.
Harper had a little heifer on October 10th, her name is Autumn. They will both be hanging out at Ramseyers for another week enjoying fun on the farm and visiting with all the people!
Autumn & Harper are both doing very well & Harper is being an AMAZING mother sharing Autumn with the kids while still being a protective mama.
Come by and see them this week sometime :)

Hello from Pumpkin Sunday at Grace Chuch Medina. Today we had many smiles, so many laughs & this was a true blessing to share our beautiful babies on this windy, cold, but gorgeous fall day. Harper enjoyed her many, many treats from the kids. All the goats were social butterflies & little Boogie was enjoying all the attention. What more can we ask for but what we have been given. ♡ happy fall to all!

It is safe to say Boogie no longer flinches at kids screaming and having a good time, thanks to a small army of kiddos celebrating a birthday today. He was a great addition to Wyatt's "first rodeo".

These goats are making bar soap & matcha lattes these days. We are so proud of them & they are proud of what they do. We will be attending some summer markets where you'll be able to meet them, love on them & also have an opportunity to leave with something homemade.

Meet Punchy. Our C-section baby of the year, and he is growing at an extremely high rate. He was born on Superbowl Sunday, February 12. Suede went into labor about 11 am and it was not long before I realized that he was NOT coming out the back way.
Being Sunday, it was a blessing to have the vet there by about 1:30 pm to perform an emergency C section. We quickly set up an operating table (plywood board, covered with a towel) right there in the goat barn. Punchy came fists a flying into this world within the hour. When the vet pulled him out, he just kept coming and coming! Such a huge boy. Trevor and i got to assist in the procedure as we were the only ones there to help Dr Carl.
And at 2 months old, he's 17 pounds.
Mama Suede was so brave, and so strong. She accepted Punchy after he was born and loves him now. They're quite a pair & I'm thankful for all the help we had during his arrival, our friends who came to help at a moment's notice & for Dr Carl keeping this situation calm and very collected. 🩶 We spotted a bald eagle that morning, I took it as a sign everything was going to be alright that day.
God is good all the time.

We took Beth out to the pasture with the mini cows so she would have more room to release energy during the day (since she has recently started visiting the neighbors and can no longer be trusted to free roam).
Mini bull doesn't ever voluntarily approach anyone - but he walked right up to Beth to scope her out. We thought he may have an issue ....but he accepted her into the clan.
Him's a good little bull.

Our Sulcata Tortoise Spa Day

It's Saguaro & Pear's weekly spa day. They soak for approximately 20 minutes in warm water to hydrate enough for a week.
Shallow water because they cannot swim or breathe under water.

Sometimes they go in a pie dish & and 8x10 but not for turtle soup.

They also are comfortable being held under the faucet while warm water is running.

We are so proud of Loretta. She is our 1 year old water buffalo who is part of our petting zoo. She is very willing & she's on her way to being saddle broke 🤎
