Ziggy

In the short time I've been alive, I've been through a lot. I am thankful to finally have a forever home where I am loved soooo much!!!

I was born in Texas in a litter of eleven. My family (the Boo Boo's) was rescued by angels (my foster Aunts) when we were just puppies. They brought us all to Colorado where we played and grew strong. They gave us lots of love and named me Rafa. When I got big enough, I was adopted by a girl who named me Ziggy. I lived with her for about two years. I got returned to my foster Aunts the summer of 2

016. I'm thankful they took me back; but, I had no idea what I did wrong and why I had to go there to live again. Lookin' back that wasn't such a bad thing. My foster Aunts love me soooo much! They played with me, let me run in the yard and fed me good food. I got to see my brother, Sammy Boo Boo, and played with him a lot. I even got to see my mom, Honey Boo Boo, as she lives there too. On October 6, 2016 my life changed forever. A married couple came to visit me where I lived. They were really excited to meet me and gave me a lot of attention right away. I got to go home with them on a two week "trial". Although I gave them a few challenges, they had a lot of faith and hope in me. They knew I needed love, attention, discipline, structure and a lot of tolerance training. The two week trial worked out great and they adopted me. I lived in Broomfield, CO until 2018, then we moved to Bellflower, CA for a few months. I loved the weather in CA, as it was always nice outside. I now live in Iowa with my mama (as my adopted papa passed away July 2018) and have been in Iowa since June 2018. I am an only pet in the household and it's great. I'm loved so much, as my mama spends time with me outside, playing ball & tug-of-war and even takes me on car rides. I love going to grandma's house because I get to run in her fenced yard and hang out with my grandpa, Ricky. I love hanging out with my nephews, Colton and Keaton. I also love mama's boyfriend, Shannon, as he gives me love rubs on my belly and neck. I am a happy dog and very thankful for this blessed life! It was long-awaited, but definitely worth it. I'm happy they kept my (second) name, Ziggy . . . even though they added a few more names to it. My full name is now Ziggy Robert Nesta Stardust Marley. Thankfully nobody calls me by that! 💙
