Crossfield Farm and Rabbitry is a family owned and operated homestead in south WV! We specialize in Pedigreed Rex, Vienna-Marked Rex, and New Zealand Mixes.

Pedigree Rex Rabbits ready to go! They all are fully pedigreed, most of them are females. They are just under 12 weeks old.

They are from Vienna lines and may be carriers of the Vienna color gene. Meaning their offspring could have white patches and blue eyes. 💙

Pedigree Rex Doe Rabbits ready to go! From CFF's Pumpkin Spice x Shady Brook's Gambler. They all are fully pedigreed does. They are between 6-7 pounds right now and should be ready for their first breeding in fall. Born 3-24-2024.

(Their mother is from Vienna lines, but she does not appears to carry the gene. Father is from Vienna-free lines.)

Baby Bunnies!! 🥰 Had some new (non-vienna) litters born recently. This first litter is Full of Heart's Gyoza x Shady Brook's Gambler. She had 9 kits and is doing great nursing them all herself! So excited for this pairing, so many unique colors and expecting some good type!

Silver Fox/Rex cross kits! 8 weeks old and ready to hop. From lines with great milk production and gentle personalities. Mom is a Silver Fox, dad is a Pedigreed Rex. Red hearts for girls, blue hearts for boys. Each are about 4 # and should top out at 8.5-10 #.

This litter is from Vienna lines! Although they are bred to the SOP, they are not "show quality" because of their color.

Got pictures and weights of all the Rex that turned 8 weeks. I'll be posting each litter into separate posts tomorrow. (so 4 posts in total) Exciting news, all the Rex juniors are between 3-4.5 pounds at 8 weeks, with an average weight of 3.75 # each! This is definitely a huge blessing and a sign to me that we made the right decision changing to a new feed. 😊

Also, Caught Blue Razzberry's Tri kit in a spicy mood! 🤣 She's definitely in the cute phase right now. 😍

People always ask why we prefer Rex to New Zealand on our homestead. This is why! Rex are seriously the sweetest rabbits ever. We love snuggling and handling all the babies, and they enjoy it too. ❤️

This little buck is just shy of 8 weeks old and loves pets and giving kisses. 🥰 AND, despite being the runt of the litter he's going to be 3 pounds at 8 weeks, which is way better than I expected for him. In case anyone is interested he's a Low Rufus, B/O Brindle Rex, fully pedigreed. This guy would be staying at rabbitry if we didn't already have too many bucks. 😅

Maize's kits were born and they are very excited to be out in the world! They are happy squeaking to their mother, it's the cutest sound! 😍♥️

Somebody's nesting early! Seasame (Rex/New Zealand F1 doe) is due on the 28th with her very first litter. I wonder if the colder weather encouraged her to make a warm nest early... She is a beautiful color and comes from a fantastic mother and father, so expectations are high for her to be a great mother! 😊
