Today is THE day! 🥳 Thanksgiving Sleepover pickups start TODAY at 11:00 a.m.

With nearly 200 dogs available to choose from (including our boy Marshall & his mini pictured here), we've compiled a list of suggested dogs based on their characteristics.

🐾 If you have other dogs at home, we recommend asking about:

Artie, Loki, Buffy, Delaney, DJ, Ida, Jaeger, Loki, Noodle, Noah, Stetson, Neville, Vera, Raleigh, Simon, Sly or Sriracha!

🐾 If you plan on having children at home for the holidays, we recommend asking about:

Simon, Mononoke, Artie, Betsy, Calliope, Delaney, Gina, Ida, Jaeger, Meatball, Neville, Rolo, Rose, Stewart, Sweetie or Winnie!

🐾 If you're looking for a housebroken dog, we recommend asking about:

Marshall, Lydia, Sherman, Keno, Dolly, Tyson, Victor, People, Maui, Norman, Nellie, King, Tommy, Dozer, Memphis, Franklin, Ernest, Chelsea or Nimbus!

Alright, we need some help sharing our longest residents. These dogs have been here for MONTHS and we have been constantly full. They deserve to be in homes instead of this stressful environment and really want a home before the holidays🐾

Paulie has been here for 90 DAYS. He is a 6year old with the sweetest and most playful disposition. He has done well with proper intros to other dogs so meet and greets with potential fur siblings is a must. He is around 60lbs but needs to put on some weight.

Whitney has been with us for 79 days. She is such a people lover and wants to just be near you. She is also very playful and ready for an adventure. Whitney is best guess around 4years old and 60lbs-short and stocky. Meet and greets with any potential fur siblings is a must—she was not socialized so just isn’t sure how to always approach others. She may do best as an only dog.

Tallulah has been with us for 68 days and is a little pocket pittie full of s***k and love. She is best guess around 4 years old and only weighs around 25lbs. Tallulah has shown some positive reactions and then some negative reactions to others—she may want to be the queen of her very own castle and no one can fault her for that! Meet and greets are required for any potential fur siblings.

Pete has been with us for 61 days…he is just a young boy who is best guess around 1 years old and weighs around 50lbs. He is a wonderful boy who is playful, friendly and has done well next to others. Pete is just a young guy, he needs out and soon.

Today we observe National Pet Memorial Day, a day where we honor the memory of our cherished animal companions who have passed away.

Although they are no longer with us physically, the special bond we shared with our pets and the joy they brought into our lives will never fade. Their pawprints are forever etched on our hearts.

We invite you to remember your furry friends who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Please feel free to share photos or loving memories of your pets in the comments below, as we pay tribute to the unique role they played in our lives. While grief may still feel fresh, we can support each other through fond remembrances of the quirky habits, silly antics and comfort our pets provided.

I'm excited to announce that I am now an Equine Graston Technique provider! Graston is a type of IASTM (Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization) that is deeply rooted in the human world of physical therapy providing help with injury recovery, improving mobility and reducing pain. Graston technique is heavily researched in humans, and is now making the transition to equine which is exciting!

I wanted to list briefly 3 ways that Graston Technique can help your equine partner!

1) Help reduce body pain/soreness by decreasing sensitization and restoring proper muscle glide to restricted areas.
2) Help recover from muscle/tendon/ligament injuries by improving quality of collagen alignment and decreased scar tissue formation
3) Reduce scar tissue adhesions allowing for better motion through the affected area.

I'm very excited to be able to offer this and provide even more relief for our equine friends!
