Update: this little birdie went to The Raptor Trust wildlife sanctuary today. I learned what type of bird he is (a Grackle) and in NJ these species of birds are not legal to keep as pets (not that I was wanting a pet bird, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it actually) So this rehab center appreciated me caring for him and they will keep me posted on his well being. ❤️
Tis the bird season 😊 Here we go again! Not bringing my hopes up….I’m going to use the tools I was taught by the bird specialist and we shall see. Will keep everyone posted ❤️

So I encountered this squirrel and wondered why it’s making this sound. It wouldn’t stop. I did my research (being the animal lover that I am) and this is a female squirrel in heat and calling out for a male. I don’t know, I just found that very interesting. First time coming across something like this 🤷🏻♀️😊 Animals fascinate me ❤️

Ok everyone so this mysterious illness affects your dogs upper respiratory system. It consists of runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, coughing and trouble breathing. Some pups can become lethargic and have no desire to eat etc. it’s important to get your dog checked as soon as possible so the proper treatment can be started. Whether it’s contagious or not, I’m not sure. This is my dog Charlie and you can clearly see the cough/hacking and the sneezing. His eyes are watery as well and he has a runny nose. Sometimes he goes into these sneezing spells where he sneezes so much and so hard he gives himself a nose bleed. He still acts totally normal though, which is good. My other dog Skipp has absolutely no symptoms and he is always next to Charlie napping. I will be taking Charlie in to see the vet tomorrow. Where this can be contracted is beyond me. My 2 don’t care to walk much, they usually do their business in the same area. But they could very well contract it from sniffing the ground if a sick pup did as well. Who knows. But I wanted to share with you all who have dogs, this is what to look out for. Hope this helps. 🙏❤️🐾
