Any time in the next few days beautiful, healthy Bo puppies are expected to arrive!! (eek!) The mama is the sweet and smart 'Willow' (pictured). She has a huge heart to please, comes from a long line of smart and healthy AKC labradors; AND she has a lovely broad head, just like Bo's! Bo single-handedly (pawedly?) found 10 sheds yesterday morning. Most of the time he brings them to us and goes back out before he even gets a treat for his hard work. His motivation is so clearly because he wants to please us. He is such an amazing dog ❤️

Beautiful healthy happy AKC registered yellow lab puppies! Born last night and this morning. Both Nala and Bo carry a recessive black lab gene. So this liter should have beautiful black features. Can hardly wait!

Bo, ready to go find an adventure in the woods. Today, he will be my guard dog while I pick huckleberries and elderberries in bear country.
Bo has chased off several ‘too curious’ black bears, sometimes coming nose to nose.
Goes to show, it’s all about attitude and gumption and our Bo has it!

I love that Bo has the presence of mind to ... play like a maniac with another dog... sprint with all his heart to retrieve.. tear through the forest like a banshee to find sheds... protect me from the attack of a German shepherd... chase off a cougar... AND be gentle as a lamb to bunnies. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Pretty good for a 2.5 year old Labrador! He only gets better and better 🥰

Bo with the sheds he found last year. Last year was his first year as a young adult dog. We are still working with him more and more and he is getting better and better. Hopefully this year he will double that shed amount!

Bo’s latest elk hunting adventure. Most of his diet consists of dog food that has been made with game meat. He knows what’s-up when we are out hunting and looks forward to hearing the shot of a gun.
