As Valentine’s Day rolls around so does one of our most common toxicities in dogs - chocolate ingestion.
Chocolate contains caffeine and theobromine which overstimulates your pets nervous system and cardiovascular system.
The outcome of chocolate toxicity depends on the amount and type ingested, your dog’s weight and how quickly it was caught. Darker and more bitter chocolates are more toxic to dogs but all forms carry risk.
Keep your chocolates, candies and flowers up and away from your pets to prevent ingestion.

All set- barn cats wandering from up the road 💜

2 skittish cats hanging Hill Rd near the Essex line for about a week now.
They may be staying in our barn.

1 brown striped tabby with white chest
1 black possibly with white tips

Wondering if they are lost.
