People Therapy Through Pets

Founded in 1985, the Pets & People Foundation, Inc. offers pet-assisted therapy visits to those in need. Our carefully screened and certified pet therapy teams can be found at nursing homes, assisted living and special needs facilities, hospitals, half-way houses, various children’s programs, senior daycare centers and many other places where a visit by a dog or cat therapy team can brighten the day. Pets and People is 501(c) 3 non-profit volunteer organization and our members share a common belief that a visit with a four-footed friend can make a difference however small in the lives of those we service. The primary geographic focus of P & P therapy teams is Massachusetts from Worcester east to the Atlantic Ocean and from Falmouth on Cape Cod north to the southern New Hampshire region
