Today was supposed to be our big day.The day we had been preparing for since November. The day we poured thousands of dollars, countless hours, and every ounce of our energy into. The day my students and colleagues worked so hard to bring to life with incredible stage sets, animations and videos. The day we thought we would pitch a man of integrity that believes in people and products. The day we were finally going to find an investor and partner to help us streamline our process. The day we thought we would finally see Pawcasso take its next big step toward becoming a household name.
Instead, today is the day we sit with disappointment. The day we had hoped that somehow, the production crew would have realized they made a mistake when they cut us just five days before we were set to present.
Today is also the day we say some prayers and ask ourselves the hardest question yet: Do we keep pushing forward, or is this the end?
This is not where we expected to be today. But no matter what happens next, we are so incredibly grateful—to our friends, our family, our customers, and everyone who believed in us. Your support has meant everything.
In the end, this wasn’t our big break-just a waste of our time, money, and resources. Maybe our next opportunity is just around the corner or maybe it’s time to toast to an amazing journey coming to its end. Stay tuned.💙🐾
