This gorgeous boy is Aiden! He is sweet as can be and a total Lovebug! Very friendly and always smiling. A 2-3 year flat-coat retriever/aussie/mix, he absolutely adores people and will likely greet you with a little tap dance! . His multi-color coat is beautiful and has the cutest over fluffed ears! He is great with kids and loves to romp and play with the other doggies in his foster home. He enjoys going for walks and does well on leash overall. Aiden is a model car rider and makes a wonderful co-pilot! If you’re looking for a true companion and awesome family dog, look no further! Just an all around happy, go-lucky boy, with a great temperament, who will make a fantastic addition to most any type/size family.

While in our care Aiden has been fully vetted, is up to date on vaccines and preventatives, heartworm tested, neutered and microchipped. Peter can’t wait to meet you! This 53 lb., 6 year old lab mix is fun, friendly, snuggly, is ALWAYS happy and ....did we mention fun? He loves every person he meets...young to old...and great with other dogs and cats! Peter is up to anything life has to offer and is about as perfect as they come! He has been living with his foster family in Texas and hangs with many other foster dogs with no issues. He is crate and potty trained and can't wait for dinner as he loves to eat but be careful he can be the best counter surfer as well. Peter is now in Ohio and ready to find his permanent home. If you are looking for a great all around dog, Peter fits the bill and then some! He is fully vetted, UTD on all vaccines and preventatives, HW tested, neutered and microchipped.

ADOPTED!!!!

Meet Flower

Flower…as beautiful as her name with a smile to match?? This precious pup is as sweet as they come. Believe it or not, she found herself in a Texas kill shelter. Luckily, we had a foster who had space to take her! Flower is right around 11 months old and is hoping to spend her 1st Birthday with her new family! She currently weighs 40 lbs but we expect her to be in the 45-50 lb range as she fills out a bit more. Flower is excellent with kids and loves other dogs. She is a happy girl that enjoys to be in your company. Very affectionate and a definite snuggle bug. Overall, she is on the calmer submissive side and has a very easy going temperament. Her zoomies come out when it’s time to play, especially if there is another dog to romp around with. Easy to handle on leash and loves her walks. Minimal pulling but does like to stop here and there to explore all the new sights and smells. She is potty and crate trained. Flower is smart and eager to please. Just an “all around” awesome pup that will be a wonderful companion for the lucky family that adopts her.

Hobbs spent the day with the neighbors out at their grandparents farm. What a grand time he had. We can’t believe Hobbs is still available for adoption as he will make someone a great side kick and fill their lives with such joy!!! We are hoping the right family sees this boy and will want to open their hearts and home!!❤️❤️

$5 Friday – Help Us Cover Vet Bills!

It’s $5 Friday, and today we’re reaching out with an important need—vet expenses.

This past week, several of our dogs are going for their 2nd round of heartworm injections which means they are in need of 2 injections . We never want to delay or deny treatment when an animal needs help, but vet bills add up fast—and unfortunately, we don’t have dedicated funding for this and as a small rescue we are dependant on the help of our wonderful donors

That’s where you come in. With just $5, you can be part of making sure every animal gets the medical attention they deserve. Every dollar goes directly toward paying down these vet bills so we can keep doing right by the animals who count on us.

Below is Brownie who will need his final 2 injections next week so let’s get this covered and get him on to better things. We also have Aiden who will make his way to Callaghans for his injections as he just finished his doxy.

Look who is arriving at the rescue this evening!!

HOBBS!!!

Are you looking for a loving and playful best friend? Meet Hobbs! This very handsome pup is a 4-5 year old, lab/cattle dog mix. He has a unique and beautiful white coat with golden brown spots. This boy is the total package! Friendly and affectionate he hasn’t met a stranger. Hobbs LOVES to play and takes his Kong along wherever he goes. His absolute favorite activity is fetch, which goes hand in hand with one of his favorite toys….his ball! He would play fetch all day if someone is willing. That’s not to say he doesn’t love chilling and hanging with his person just as much. He is great with kids and does fine with the other dogs in his foster home but, Hobbs is not one that likes to share his toys with other canine companions, so playtime with toys is an activity to be enjoyed with his humans! He travels well in the car and would love to be your co-pilot. He walks fairly well on leash but tends to pull if he sees something that interests him….nothing major that some basic training or practice won’t take care of. Hobbs keeps his foster family smiling with his silly and fun-loving personality, but he would love to find a forever family he can bring joy to! Could that be you?
