Another awesome weekend at DGF!!
14/15, with just one missed FAST gamble (took the inside tunnel instead of outside tunnel entrance, which is a tough one for us). Jen didn’t send me over any wrong obstacles this weekend (although she did try today on premier jumpers 😵‍💫😆). ❤️

Hurdles Round 1! 4th Place 🏆

My Detective Q run from today! It’s long, if you don’t want to watch it all definitely catch the 5:35ish part at least and make sure to have the volume on. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ Edited to add: Detective is the highest AKC Scent Work class. It’s 5-10 hides, combined interior and exterior areas, and it can be any height and inaccessible or accessible. You don’t know how many hides there are so you have to call finish correctly before time runs out to qualify. We had 13 minutes for this course.

80 points, 1st place in 12” and 2nd place across all heights. ❤️ Hope you have a big monitor - I’m the little ant running next to Jen. 🐜

One of my awesome FAST runs towards my AGCH! This is from October 15, 2021 at Quad City Dog Center. In FAST you have to accumulate points by completing your choice of obstacles, each worth a certain point value, plus the dog has to do an obstacle sequence while the handler is behind a distance line. 12” dogs have 35 seconds before you start losing points for every additional second. 80 points is the highest score, you need at least 60 points plus a successful distance challenge to qualify. You only get one try at the distance challenge. The distance challenge here was the tunnel-jump-frame in the back corner. We got 80 points on this run as well. :)
