As usual, I was having too much fun meeting everyone to get many pictures, but I want to thank everyone, and especially my barn family for pulling together an extra special day at Tally Ho Farm. From the super awesome cookies, to the tasty hot chocolate, and the reindeer games and the auction and toy drive, we really came together ❤️ a special thanks to one of our barn dad's for taking on an extra special role, and of course, our 4 legged partners, the best lessons ponies and horses around who played christmas elves for all the kids (and some adults too 🤩)

A really special thank you to our new community. Adam and I are so happy and blessed to be here and bring the joy of horses to everyone, and we appreciate all the love and laughter we get to experience everyday at the farm.

If you didn't get to visit, not to worry, we will be having more fun activites here, all winter long.

🤶If Mrs. Clause rode horses it for sure would be a Thoroughbred.
One that could carry her with pride, as she worked hand and hand with Santa to make sure he was ready for his big day.
One that would fly easily over snowy hills to bring Christmas cheer to the world.
If Mrs. Clause rode horses, she would always choose one that had a heart big enough to hold the wishes and dreams of boys, girls, women and men, and what horse has more heart then a Thoroughbred. ❤️🎄

We love all of our ottbs at the farm, and we specialize in introducing people to these amazing horses and what they have to offer. We have several available for lease of different ages and abilities if you want to try out a horse with heart and ability to go any direction.

The holidays have always been an extra special time for us, and yesterday was extra special as we made a debut with the "B" team, Belle and Beauty in our new home town, West Winfield.
Thank you Adam, for adventuring with me and thank you to the wonderful people that make up the community of Winfield.💕

Looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Holiday with Horses, December 15th from 1-3.

How as a horse community can we get back to being more realistic in vettings? School master types are going to require maintenance. Sport Horses gain miles with wear and tear. Flexions at a 1 or a 2 are usually VERY manageable with a bit of help. You do an oil change every 3000 miles on your car. We change the brakes when they wear diwn, we don't throw out the whole car. I can't promise safe and reliable horses that have only been kept in a glass box. I understand when there are GLARING issues, but generally the seller realizes that too and the price reflects the gamble.

We have been getting ready for more snow so haven't had time to post pictures, but here is some pony spam from our Turkey Trot Jumper Show Saturday! So much fun and so much learning. Thank you to all our participants, parents, and helpers who made the show and success. To be around the camaraderie, the good food spread, the laughter and merriment, is what we love!
Look for our next horse show in mid January!

Also, comment below if you would like to see more games shows( with fun games like the catalog Race, sit a buck, etc) Jumpers shows, dressage or hunters. We want to do a sprinkle of everything at the Farm!

However, sometimes riding is not possible, or even advisable. On those days, I am a fan of unmounted lessons.....
