Takes cocker spaniels forever to get dry, this is been 2 1/2 hours… I prefer her air drying. Easier on her skin.

Classy she doesn’t sleep with me anymore because she won’t go up the steps, so she gets her blanket and comes up alongside the bed and lays on the floor. I cover her up in her bed, but I guess she just wants to be close to me, amazing She can keep that blanket on her as she walks. But she gets back into her bed before morning. ❤️❤️❤️

A Loan From God
God promised at the birth of time,
A special friend to give,
Her time on earth is short, he said,
So love her while she lives.
It may be six or seven years,
Or twelve or then sixteen,
But will you, till I call her back,
Take care of her for me?
A wagging tail and cold wet nose,
And silken velvet ears,
A heart as big as all outdoors,

Her puppy ways will gladden you,
And antics bring a smile,
As guardian or friend she will,
Be loyal all the while.
She'll bring her charms to grace your life,
And though her stay be brief,
When she's gone the memories,

But lessons only a dog can teach,

Classy is not like other dogs, she doesn’t scratch the door or bark, or even ring a bell. When she wants to go out, she puts her paw up on the step and taps it, to get my attention. And she will continue until I look over at her and get up and let her out 🤣🤣🤣

So I got Classy another bed like the one she has on the front porch, because I think it alleviates pressure on her joints. She will stay on that one out front for hours. Anyways I’m gonna try it. She was way too much help. 🤣😩

I was able to get Classy groomed today without a bath,  because the sstiches. But I know she has to feel cooler. ❤️

My Classy is happy if I just sit out on the front porch with her. She will come to the door and stare at me until I come out on the porch. Then she will get in her bed and she chew her bone happily. She likes to chase the balls, but she will not bring them back to me. 😩 she used to, but I think it’s her hip bothering her.

My poor Classy I picked her up. She has stitches and she’s not allowed to have anything to eat, or drink the rest of the evening and she didn’t have anything all day. 😩

My beautiful Classy… she was limping the last couple days, so I put her up on a table with a warm bowl of soapy water, put her paw in it and found a rock in bedded in between her paw pads 😞

My daughter, Tuesday had surgery, and is still recovering. I’m at her house and she went to the bathroom. Classy loves her, sometimes I think more than me. 🤣 I think she’s worried about her.

No matter, if she looks like a sheep dog or not, she still my baby!!❤️ she’s been on a diet, you can’t tell because of the fur, but she’s lost a couple pounds.
