the industry. Their goal was to create a fun and safe environment where dogs would love to come and play, and pet owners would feel 100% confident in the superior care that their dogs were receiving. In 2009, the first The Dog Stop® doors opened in Pittsburgh, PA. Since that day, The Dog Stop’s mission has been to deliver a superior experience for the dogs and their whole families by providing a safe environment, offering educational opportunities, anticipating and exceeding the needs of clients and their pet companions, instilling complete peace of mind for those we serve – and to earn their trust every day! Meet Kim Possible, the playful pup who’s ready to save the day—and your heart! ♥️

This lovable girl knows "sit" and is always up for a game of fetch, making her the perfect companion for active adventures. Kim adores pets, hugs, belly rubs, and snuggles, but she’s also crate-trained to keep her mischief in check when you’re not around. 🐾

Kim does have a rare condition that affects her digestion and requires lifelong medication, but don’t worry—HARP's medical staff is happy to answer all your questions and provide support. Come meet this sweet girl at HARP's East Side Shelter!

Say hello to Chicory! 🐶 This adorable pup came to Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) as a stray and has blossomed into a joyful and loving companion. Though she was initially a bit nervous, Chicory has made incredible progress in building her confidence. She's a pint-sized cuddle bug who adores attention—especially after getting her zoomies out! 🐾

Treats are the way to Chicory's heart, and she's learning that humans can be her best friends. If you have another dog at home, it is recommended to schedule a meet-and-greet to see if they’re a perfect match. Stop by HARP's East Side shelter to meet this little sweetheart! 💗
