A late post but….. we are back up and running since our trip away!
had a busy Thanksgiving with campers but it was fun meeting some new campers as well as seeing our regular camper, Ruckus, who is BFF’s with our Scoter girl! ❤️

A late post…but these two(Ruckus and Scoter - 5 mths and 6 mths) had a blast in the puddles that the storm left behind last night! Nothing a rub down with a towel doesn’t fix!

Be aware of dangerous algae blooms this time of year!

PET HEALTH ALERT: The Maryland Departments of Agriculture, Environment, Health, and Natural Resources advise the public that algae mats detected in the Potomac River in the area from Edwards Ferry to Great Falls, Montgomery County, could be harmful to animals when ingested. Pet owners are advised to keep their animals out of the water in this area until further notice. The algae has the appearance of mats of fine, green cotton and can be found along the shoreline, attached to rocks or plants, on the bottom or floating downstream.

Monitoring will continue and the public will be advised when conditions improve. More information on protecting your pet is available at:
