Everyone meet our available cats!
Toph, Katara, and Sokka are 4 month old grey tabby kittens. Phoebe is a pure bred Maine C**n and Finnley is a Maine C**n mix, they are both 2 years old. FireHeart is a shy but sweet orange tabby who is roughly 1.5 years. Peach is an absolute love of a cat who just wants to be in your lap. Message us today to ask about any of these darling kitties!

Sweet Wall-e is looking for his furrever home. All this boy wants to do is be your best friend. He loves other animals. He will chase cats but with training this is easily resolved. He wouldn’t harm a fly. He’s used to horses, chicken, and ducks. He absolutely adores children. He is 3 years old, uptd on shots and will be neutered before going to his new home. We are not desperate to rehome him. Approved home only.

Little 8 week old Bella is ready for her forever home. She was born in our home from her mother who was a rescue. This little miracle kitten was the only survivor from the litter. Mama has an unknown underlying condition. This kitten is really socialized with people and dogs. She loves to play and cuddle.

Everyone meet WALL•E! This precious guy is roughly 2 years old. About a year ago WALL•E was found abandoned in a cage in the woods. He was skin and bones. Good friends of Hearts of a Kind found him and with tons of TLC got him healthy and adopted him out to what was supposed to be the perfect home. Things went south and this sweetheart of a dog ended up for close to being euthanized. As soon as we (Sam and Lydia) got the call we decided to pick him up. The very next day we picked him up and brought him home. WALL·E has been tested for every sort of aggression and reactiveness we could throw at him and he passed with flying colors. This amazing boy would make the perfect companion for anyone. He loved to cuddle and play. He’s wonderful with other animals and children. He will be ready for his new home in a couple weeks once he’s recovered from being neutered. This is one special dog who deserves the best so we will be extra picky about where he goes. Mutti is looking for someone to love her as much as she loves everyone else. She is a 2 year old beautiful Pitbull. Her personality is literally unbeatable. She will gaze into your eyes and steal your heart. If I wasn’t already overrun I would never let her go. She is potty/crate/and basic obedience trained. She’s one of my favorite dogs to walk. While she needs help to be good with other animals, there is not a mean bone in her body. Don’t let this lovely girl pass by, she’s the best ❤️

Meet Koda! A fun loving, very handsome, and friendly boy. This German Shepherd/Husky mix is roughly 11 months. He is working on his crate training and obedience. He wants to be busy all the time so an active home would be best. He is uptd on shots and flea meds. Don’t pass him up, he wants to be your new best friend!

Sweet, beautiful, and smart Tigger still needs a home. He is one of the best puppies I’ve been around in a long time. He came to me with zero potty training, and in only two ish weeks is 90% potty trained. When I brought him home he had never left his house, now he’s been horse camping and on numerous adventures. It’s hard not to keep this one. His name does fit him perfect as he can jump 6 feet high and loves to bounce. Don’t worry we are working on it. He wants to be a part of a family. He loves kids, adults, and other animals. All he wants is to play and cuddle.

Hearts of a Kind needs your help! We have recently had a large influx of rescues in the last week. 6 cats, 1 of which is absolutely pregnant, another one is possibly pregnant, and 2 dogs. These are all wonderful animals. We are looking for donations of dog/cat food, litter, and funding towards spays and neuters as none of these animals are fixed. We also desperately need fosters. Due to no fault of her own miss Chloe has come back to us and is again available for adoption. This gorgeous pup is going to be a big dog. At 11months old she is already 72 lbs. Chloe is a Heinz 57, meaning we don’t know what breed she is. She has a huge heart and loves everyone she meets. Absolutely great with kids and other animals. She loves to play and go for walks, but also loves to be a couch potato and watch movies. Let’s give this amazing girl a family for Christmas 🎄❤️🎄

Due to no fault of her own, miss Elita has been returned to us. She is from our bottle fed litter of kittens last year. This Maine C**n mix loves other animals and children. She has an amazing personality, she is very social. Elita is just a little over a year old, spayed, and up to date on shots. PM us for more information on how to become Elita’s furrever home ❤️

Everyone meet Chloe! She is the sweetest 9 month old puppy you’ve ever met. Chloe was surrendered to us by her family who respectfully realized they didn’t have the time she needs. She is an absolute dream. Chloe loves children and every animal she’s ever met. There is not a mean bone in her body. She is a large mix (I make no promises on what breed she may be) who is still growing. She needs plenty of exercise, and while she is crate trained she hates to be alone. Chloe is up to date on all her shots and is spayed. She is completely house broken and obedience trained. All she needs now is her furrever home ❤️
She is located in Dyer and will go to an approved home following a home visit.

Due to busy work schedules and high vet bills, we closed Hearts of a Kind for a few months. I’m more than happy to say that we are back in operation, saving one pet at a time! Our newest rescue is on his way here now! Keep your eyes peeled for his picture ❤️

All I want for Christmas is for Merida to find a forever home. This dog is a treasure. Truly one of the best dogs I’ve worked with. She comes with basic obedience training, and tons of love. Not to mention a month of free one on one training.
She uptd on all her shots, and is spayed.
Must go to a single dog home. She is good with cats.

Merida is healthy! She is no long underweight, which we are thrilled about! She’s come a long way with her training too. She’s a dream to walk. She really just wants someone to snuggle with for the rest of her life. She will be ready to go by Christmas. Finding her a family for Christmas would be a dream come true. She has to go be an only dog. 1 month professional training is included it’s her adoption.

This gem is Alice. She is our beloved ruby. Alice had a very rough start, there was a time we didn’t think she would make it. In a few weeks these babies will be looking for their furrever home. Alice will need a special home with a family ready to give her tons of attention. She loves to cuddle and talk.
