And on the 8th day, God looked down at the animals He had made and said, "They will need someone to fight for them, to comfort them, to heal them. Someone to give them voice because they cannot speak for themselves."
So God made the Veterinary Technician.

God said, “I need someone who will crawl on the floor to reach a frightened kitten, or hold a shivering dog close when he needs comfort. Someone who will clean wounds, place catheters, give injections, run laboratory tests, take x-rays, prep for and run anesthesia in surgery---all while remembering every patient's name. Someone who will be scratched and even bitten on occasion, who understands the job can be dangerous and back breaking but feels the risks are worth it to help the animals.
So God made the Veterinary technician.

"I need someone who stays late to monitor a critical patient, or comes back in at night to check on them. Who gets up again after hard days, and who gives every animal the same gentle and compassionate care because their hearts are big. I need someone who’s not afraid to get dirty--they will be covered in hair, drool, blood, and more-- and who will stay calm theough it all.
So God made the Veterinary technician

God said, "I need someone who can gently tell a grieving pet parent, ‘You did everything you could’ and who cries with them while saying goodbye... someone who’s seen heartbreak a hundred times, and still chooses to care just as deeply.
Someone who celebrates new puppies and kittens and celebrates every time a pet recovers from illness. Who can hold joy and loss in each hand, often in the same day. Who spends much time in the trenches for little recognition, but understands their work is important and needed. Who would save every animal if they could. Someone to be an angel for pets.”
So God made the Veterinary Technician.🐾❤️🐾

Meet Jasper & Delilah 💔➡️💖

These two beautiful souls came into our shelter after being abandoned by their previous owners. Jasper and Delilah arrived together, confused and heartbroken.

Despite their rough start, these two have nothing but love to give. 🐾

❤️ Delilah’s adoption fee has been 100% sponsored by a kind and compassionate member of our community. 🐶 Jasper’s adoption fee is partially sponsored as well—thanks to the same generous soul who wanted to give them a second chance.
