Rain, sleet, or snow doesn’t stop us from training! Lesson clients, Jax and Stryker, were challenged with a Home Depot lesson today. Neither pup had ever been to Home Depot or even the pet store because of their severe reactivity to other dogs. Now they can join their owners on outings confidently as good boys!
Lesson client, Lilli, came in due to reactivity around other dogs and pulling on her leash! Today was Lilli’s 5th lesson and we challenged her at Lincoln park. She made heel look like a breeze, even past other dogs! Amazing work Lilli!
Our first lesson, Gracie came in with her head down, tail never wagging, and just lacked some confidence. She was very timid around new people and new dogs.
She would rarely listen to commands with distractions…
In our 5th lesson, we decided to take her first trip to Home Depot!
Gracie and her owner have definitely been doing their homework! What a huge improvement!
👏🏼
5 days in and Juniper is already rocking a nice tight heel! (Featuring help from Miley😅)
Autumn is moving forward quickly in her training! She is only on her 4th day and already working around harder distractions, like trainer Malia’s cat outside!
Flash and Lady practicing Heel - OLK9 Tacoma
Flash and Lady have been crushing it during lessons with their owner. Today they got to practice all the obedience skills they learned in previous lessons together for the first time and they killed it! 🐾
Confidence building in a lesson with “Raya” the Rhodesian Ridgeback!
Leash manners are important for every dog..but especially a high energy husky. Here’s just a taste of what’s included in the two week board and train program!
Willow, Day 11 of 14
Check out little miss Willow in action! We are drilling some advanced commands today in between the rain showers! She's doing awesome and ready to film her after video!

When we release dogs from a command with Break, we want them to be excited. Training should be fun and engaging for your pup! Just like it is for Teddy here in this video, he is loving it!
Fergus the Yogi! This was his version of a “down”. He isn’t a fan of the wet grass. While that doesn’t count..we still think it’s pretty funny😂
Tuco the 6 month old Brittany joins us for the 2 week board and train! Tuco wants to be a hunting dog so we need to make sure his recall is on point! We also need to focus on leash manners.
What’s every dogs favorite part of the training?
“BREAK!”
Mocha showing us how much she loves the “break!” Break is what releases her from her commands. We always make sure the “break” is exciting so Mocha stays engaged with us!
