Please friends be extremely cautious when spoiling your pets. We lost our Freddie yesterday 💔 all starting from an "Indestructible" rope toy. I hope by admission of my failures as a dog parent I can save someone else from going through this pain and emptiness.
He was our boy, our family member, our watch dog that would suddenly get up from a deep sleep and watch out the window minutes before the bus came home with his boys. He was trained to heard goats safely and ever so gently back into the barn & loved when my husband would say "squirrel!" and open the door, chasing away any threat to our bird feeders. He would never leave the side of a family member when they were ill so I followed his lead and stayed with him until he was gone. We did EVERYTHING in our power to keep him with us, he was seen by 4 veterinarians, had a 3 night stay at Emergency Hospital with surgery and was able to come home Monday night. However this vigorous loving, smart boy just couldn't fight the white blood cells of peritonitis that still occurred after surgery.
I have to say thank you to the Dr and staff at Animal Wellness Center of White Cloud Michigan for being able to so compassionate and loving to his end.

I just wanted to inform ALL my Taylored Labradoodle's & Goldendoodle's of Michigan families the consequences of the innocent rope toys all my fur babies loved for years...
Mr Freddie That has never been a mischievous dog that would ingest toys, actually ended up in the animal hospital this weekend from the material building up in his intestines 😥
I will never buy these again although they are "tough" or "Indestructible" because that's just false.
Please keep him in your thoughts and over the holidays when gifting your babies try to keep them safe❤️
Because I don't know when I get to bring mine home or what his final outcome will be 💔
