On National Rescue Dog Day, a shout-out to all of the rescue dogs that have found their forever homes, and much love to all of the fur babies that are still looking for their homes! Kudo is a rescue from Georgia big thank you to The Dolly Goodpuppy Society for getting him to New Hamshire! 🐶

Kudo's recovery is going great! He can get up independently and is walking all over the house independently.
We are avoiding stairs by using ramps and carrying him.
We are offering him more assistance than he would like to protect him from re-injuring himself.

On Tuesday, April 30th, we took Kudo to Ryegate for a wellness check-in to ensure that we weren’t missing anything and that he was maintaining his quality of life. During the visit, Kudo’s back was tender but nothing major. Kudo was looked over completely, and everything looked great. Kudo was prescribed a new pain medication galliprant, and we scheduled a follow-up appointment for Acupuncture....

Brad and I both had family pets while growing up. Our pets were fed a diet of dry kibble and table scraps. Although some table scraps are safe for pets, others may contain harmful ingredients. In 2011, Kudo became a part of our lives when he was just four months old. Brad and I made a pact to work together to ensure that Kudo received proper training and consistent routines....
