Denali is a barn FAVORITE! With his sweet, quiet, easy going temperament hes going to be a easy guy to start working with.
Denali has been with Elixir Farm for 3 months having an easy life just gaining weight and becoming healthy again. His last body condition score was a 4.5 way better then the 1 he came with ! However still needs a lot of love put into him.
Will stand all day in cross ties for vet / farrier / bathing.
Loads right into the trailer. Up to date on all shots and coggins.

We had his nasal scoped and it was perfect !
Not available for RRP as he did not race in 2017.
No rides after the track.

Elixir Farm is excited to announce that we are going to be holding shows this summer at the Bel Air Equestrian Center!

Dates are being finalized but will be posted within the next week. Mainly going to be held on Saturdays and possibly a few Friday nights during the summer.

Combined Test and possibly H/J shows. (Comment if you would want to attend another schooling H/J show)

Combined test will be Intro through Training

Hazelwild Farm Equestrian Center

Hazelwild Farm Equestrian Center

Today, Tuesday February 27th, one of the school horses presented with neurologic symptoms, and rapidly declined. The tests came back this evening positive for EHV-1. Equine Herpesvirus 1 is a respiratory virus however there is a mutation that causes the neurologic symptoms.

The affected horse was euthanized this morning, and immediate precautions were taken.

Hazelwild Farm is currently under quarantine with no horses coming on or off the property until further notice. All events are cancelled until further notice. Lessons for tomorrow, Wednesday February 28th are cancelled. There will be a new lesson schedule that will be sent out at a later date.

I love our Refreshed sunken pathways to our paddocks done by DnL Enterprises It’s so nice to have clean dry paths to walk horses in and out. I wish I would have taken a picture when they were finished to show how clean it looked. ☺️

A 6 day difference on Denali at Elixir Horse Farm. We are so pleased with his progress and can’t wait to see him prosper. Denali is still available for adoption!

Everyone meet Denali. A 4 year old grey 16.2 ottb gelding 🦄 Denali isn’t coming from the best life story, however Elixir Farms plan on making his future great. With a lot of love and maintenance, we hope to make Denali the next super star 🌟 He will be available for adoption throughout his journey with us. Registered name is “I’m a Spot” and he IS and an unbridled prodigy. - we also have a grey unbridled mare for sale !

We really love our barn, and we know it may intrigue a lot of people to come see it. However please note we have a lot of expensive personally property in the barn and we don’t appreciate people we don’t know coming to look at the Barn and go through it without an appointment . That is considered trespassing. So please, if you want to come see our Barn, just call !

Today, we got visited by two great friends of ours!
We got all of our renovation debris taken away by Bartenfelder Sanitation and we received our first delivery from The Mill ! Can’t wait get horses in here!
