There's also the Irish Water Spaniel, Irish Wolfhound, Kerry Blue Terrier, Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Glen of Imaal Terrier, and the Irish Red & White Setter. For cats, the two most notable breeds with Irish roots include the Manx cat and the Cymric, a long-haired version of the Manx. Both of these cat types have very short to entirely absent tails!
