Such a bittersweet moment in our lives..... Bluebell has successfully delivered her last ever litter before retirement 🥺 she has been the BEST mother. She's attentive, raises the fattest, healthiest pups, and is eager and willing to wean them on her own.

❤ I am going to do something a little out of the ordinary...

⚕ Recently, my sister- and brother-in-law's beloved vet from Wewoka, OK, Rory Sticklin, passed away too soon. He has left behind his wife, Jamie, and two young children. While he was not our regular vet that we use for our aussies, he helped us with a kitten once who needed a leg amputated. All local vets were wanting to charge us over $1,000 to amputate a leg on a cat that was given to us for free to help keep the mice out of our garage. My sister-in-law called him up, he said to bring the cat to him and he would take care of it. So we loaded up, drove 3.5 hours, he did the amputation, and charged us only $200 for the entire procedure. He was always willing to help out anyone he could. From what I've read, this was not the only time he absorbed cost to help someone out with their pets/livestock. He was definitely one of a kind and will be GREATLY missed by all who knew him.

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

I'd like to formally introduce... River and Tipper's first litter!

🗓 River was due on July 20th. We had a trip planned to Minnesota on July 22nd. She thought the perfect time to push these guys out into the world would be minutes after we left for the airport 😒 I had a camera on her the entire time and had a fellow breeder come over to check up on her occasionally. She did amazing! 6 healthy puppies.

❓ WHY DO WE KEEP OUR DOGS OUTSIDE ❓

I've seen so many posts advertising puppies "raised in our home" and I've had many people ask me if we raise our puppies in our home. We've raised puppies both ways, in-home and outside. And here's just a few reasons why I'm a firm believer of raising all our dogs (and all future pups) outside!

1️⃣ DOG HAIR 🐕
Do you realize how much dog hair is shed from a single adult aussie on 1 summer day? A LOT! Way too much for me to be able to keep a decently clean house (on top of 3 children). And we have THREE adults!! So our dogs stay outside... with their natural coats (i.e. NOT SHAVED - see post further down the page on why you shouldn't shave). They shed out their undercoat, leaving them with beautiful slick overcoats during the hotter months 🔥

2️⃣ POTTY TRAINING 🚽
I've gotten the most positive potty training reports from the forever homes of the pups we raised outside. It seems that it's been *easy* to train them to go outside where they're supposed to!
We recently bought 2 new pups to potentially add to our breeding program (pending disease testing results). One of these pups was raised in-home while the other was raised outside during the day and inside at night (or rainy days).
• The pup raised outside runs off, away from where the dogs lay and play, and goes potty in the grass.
• The pup raised in-home literally runs inside of our shop to potty on the concrete 🤦‍♀️

3️⃣ EXERCISE ⚾️
Our aussies are HIGH energy. They much prefer being able to have free roam of the backyard at all hours of the day! They run probably 10 miles a day!

⛔ But... this does not mean that the puppies we raise HAVE to stay outside when they leave our home. In fact, most of our pups go to forever homes where they will be kept inside most of the time. They simply need plenty of exercise 🐾 and mental stimulation to keep them busy. 📓

❓❓ HOW DO WE KEEP THEM COOL ❓❓

🗣 Featuring.... our very own Mudd's Mini Tipper!! 🐕

🏜 We provide an extra large "water bowl" that Tipper chooses to use as his own personal cooling pool! 💧 😂

🌳They also have plenty of shade and an actual clean water bowl 💦 that Tipper can't lay in lol

🦴 She is a daughter out of the most recent Bluebell and Tipper litter.

🛣 Honestly, I never expected this to happen, from ANY of our pups. How this specific pup was chosen to follow this path, I will never know. But I am SO PROUD of this sweet girl!!!

🏡 From the very beginning, she was one of the sweetest pups. I feel like all of our pups are sweet but this girl was different. She just CRAVED that human interaction. She reminds me so much of her daddy and I'm SO SO SO happy that she found the home she did.

❤ Just another reason why I believe this past litter was MEANT to be here.

🐶 and then there was one....

Our last little girl available. This litter has proven to me that the right family 👪 ALWAYS comes along for each puppy. Each one in this litter has fit so well into the family that chose it, and I have no doubt that this girl will find her PERFECT forever home!! 🏡

⚕️ She is 13 weeks old, has had 2 rounds of vaccinations 💉 and has been started on HW prevention.

🌧We've had rainy days for days!! Or maybe it's been weeks now... I can't remember the last time the ground wasn't wet! 🌧

These 2 🐶 are 10 weeks old and need homes. If you've messaged me previously about them, the number was too high, and you're still interested, message me again.

🦴 White chest - male - this guy is going to be GORGEOUS as an adult. He has super dark golden copper that is so hard to capture in a picture! You can barely see some of it on his legs in this picture. 🦴

❤ All black - female - this girl is spitting image of her daddy.... exact same color and just wants to be loved on all the time. ❤

These guys are starting to get CUUUUUTE!!! Their adorable little personalities are really starting to show. We keep them in an outside pen during the day and in a kennel inside at night. In the mornings when I let them out they are FULL of energy and ready to run! I open the gate to their inside pen and they run their little wiggle-butts as fast as they can to their outside pen. It's just the cutest!! I'll have to remember to get a video one of these days.

They've received their first puppy shot, they've been de-wormed and they're ALMOST ready to go to their new homes - of which some are still searching!!!
