“Sparky” is a fancy broke, cowy 3 year old with a lot of buttons. Quick footed, light in the mouth and sides, has a motor with a lot of rate and a big stop. He’s been rode out on the family ranch to sort, flagged ropings, has spent months doing slow work on the breakaway and heeling dummy, and has lightly been tracking slow cattle. Has the brain for a roping futurity prospect but could easily go any direction. No his ears are not frost bitten, they are just small and cute.

Catfish is a flashy chromed black paint. Laid back, gentle, push style (only get what you ask for (not a peddler)), can go for hours type of horse. In his former life he was used at high school rodeos. Currently, he has been in the family for two years as a head and heel horse for my father-in-law at countless jackpots and World Series ropings. He’s been rode alone extensively out in the desert in Wickenburg Az, doesn’t get buddy sour, and is a great horse in groups or singularly. More recently he’s also done ranch work including sorting and doctoring. Catfish can also be used breakawaying.
