Oct 20th we put our 6 year old dog Milo down.
For the 1st time, I started writing poems.

We cry alone because no one knows you like we do
No one knows your worth, your value

The life you brought to this home
Now we feel so alone

The love & care of a little boy
Stolen from us, we've lost our joy

We'll never touch or hold you again
To be ok, we must pretend

The pain so deep
Yet your memory we will keep

Our family broken
So many words left unspoken

A house so empty
The pain is plenty

The unjustice, unexpected
Yet you have been collected

Half a life & yet we must move on
Supportless, now that your gone

Your imprint on our lives
Beauty.... without lies

To our suffering, they will say
I'm sorry I was away

Does he have to die for you to ask, to act?
Did I need to ask you for a task?

Now it's over & you say you care
But what left is there?

In silence & anger we grieve

⚠️ VICTOR DOG FOOD RECALL!
I'm so incredibly thankful that I'm signed up for email notifications from Dog Food Advisor.
My dog has been sick & losing weight dramatically for 2 months. Our vet didn't have a sure diagnoses, but when I saw this recall I said OMG these are his symptoms. Hopefully we can get treatment now.

112°F out & people still leaving their dogs outside 🤬 You don't DESERVE to have a dog! COME AT ME! Shade, kiddie pool, fans...I don't care. If they dont have A/C, it's inhumane.
