For those of you who I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, here is a little bit about me. I am a caring, compassionate, and driven individual who grew up in Central Oregon surrounded by animals and nature. My love for the outdoors inspired me to pursue a career that allows me to connect with both people and animals on a deeper level.
In 2012 I completed my Associated Degree in Applied Science. I have studied and practiced many different massage therapy modalities with an Eastern Massage flare. I am currently practicing massage and teaching Massage Therapy at Wellspring School of Allied Health in Wichita Kansas.
Just recently, I completed my Equine Massage Therapy Certification which has allowed me to combine my passion for helping others with my love of animals. I did my Equine Massage Therapy studies with Holistic Animal Studies and completed my practical experience with Freedom Hooves and at the Kaufman Ranch in South Wichita. I delight in watching horses move and designing specific therapeutic massage applications to help manage pain, improve range of motion, and decreased muscle guarding.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, exploring new, hiking trails, and immersing myself in the serenity of nature. These moments allow me to recharge and reconnect with my roots, while creating lasting memories with those I hold dear.
I believe strongly in continuing my education both with humans and horses. I look for opportunities to help more people understand the importance of massage therapy both for themselves and for the animals they love. Massage has countless benefits for overall health and well-being. It is not just a luxury or indulgence, but rather an essential component of self-care and preventative healthcare.
