We had a great time at the Veteran's Day Parade in El Dorado put on by Celebration of Freedom. They always host amazing events and the El Dorado community is pretty incredible. They sponsored a service dog for one of our veterans and we were able to present him with his service dog in- training today. His puppy is only 4 months old and still has about a year of training left to do, but we can already tell this will be a terrific team. Thank you Anderson Acres 2018 for breeding such outstanding dogs.

Yesterday brought a moment of pure magic as our newest Veteran, Akil, connected with adorable service dog puppies. As they bonded through play and snuggles, we started laying the groundwork for a lifelong partnership. We prioritize finding the ideal match, where puppy and Veteran choose each other. Soon, Akil will welcome his carefully selected companion home, beginning an incredible journey.

The intermediate training group had a productive day. Two dogs made their mall debut, and by the session's close, the entire group was comfortably using escalators and elevators.

We will be assessing some dogs from a couple rescues for our service dog program. We use rescue dogs whenever we can.

This 14 week old Cane Corso pup from Loveland's Royal Cane Corsos has passed his initial testing to become a service dog. His breeder Whitney Loveland will foster him and come to train with us, until he can be paired up with a Veteran or 1st Responder. This pup will go through extensive training to help mitigate tasks for PTSD, Balance Assist and Anxiety.

It was a very difficult decision, all the pups tested well. But these two boys are our pick to start their service dog training! Thank you Anderson Acres 2018 for providing our program with such good pups. These pups were specifically bred for this program and we get first pick before they are available to the public.
