Big shout out to EgraF-X Inc. for doing an outstanding job on our Kevlar K9 van. This is the 2nd van they have wrapped for us and we won't use anyone else! You guys never disappoint! Thank you once again for taking care of us.

Do you want to see just a few of the Veterans we have helped through your donations? The donations we receive go towards, vet fees, application fees (for those that cant afford it), adoption fees for rescue dogs, training, travel expenses to assess dogs for the program, gas for training, equipment, certification supplies, dog food, treats etc.

(This isn't even close to being half of the people we have helped, but we didnt want to overload you with pics right now.)

We are going to have a large event- FUNDRAISER- this upcoming spring. We havent held a fundraiser in years. But we are planning to have an auction, food, games etc. We will provide details very soon. WE HOPE EVERYONE WILL COME AND SHOW US SOME LOVE!

We took a few dogs on an outing to the airport today. They got used to some of the sounds sitting next to the baggage claim while it was moving. They worked on their escalator skills, and practiced getting under tables and seats. We're proud of these veterans and their dogs. They have been putting in a lot of work training and it is paying off.

These two pups had a great first day of basic obedience with their veterans. They spent time learning through play, worked on some confidence building, learned how to heel nicely by their veterans and sit politely for them. We are excited to watch these teams grow together.

Robert Smith and his new girl Penny the sweet little Pitty that we rescued from the animal shelter in Pittsburg, KS. (We love to use rescued dogs whenever possible.) She was scheduled to be Euthanized and we adopted her 3 days before her end date. There isn't a soul on earth that she doesnt love! She is estimated to be about a yr old. She is calm and confident. We are beyond thrilled to have her in our Veteran service dog program.

These veteran service dog teams are making impressive progress in training, and I am very proud of them. Their dedication to training has been instrumental in preparing their dogs for public access testing.

Time to announce the newest addition to the Kevlar K9 family. She is a small, 1 yr old pitbull from the Pittsburg KS animal shelter. We rescued her on a Saturday afternoon and she was scheduled to be euthanized the following Tues. Our evaluator went and did the initial assessment and took her home for 10 days, to make sure she will work for our program and she is perfect! She is now fully vetted and ready to start her adventure as a PTSD service dog. She will meet her new Veteran on Saturday. We are so excited to have this girl with us. The donations we receive help fund the adoption fees, vetting, assessment costs as well as the gas to go to the assessment, training supplies such as crates, service dog vests, treats etc.

Lincoln was showing us what a good boy he is at Lowes. He did so well that he got to join us on a mall outting as well.

We took a few dogs to Town East today. While they are at varying levels in their training, they worked very well around each other and all of the distractions we came across.
