Our Story

Studio Switchum will accept commissioned work. One 2/3 scale, one of a kind kitty statue that carries likeness of your kitty will be hand made in ceramics for 500 bucks.

For a custom sculpture of representational figure, ballpark price is 49 USD per a centimeter but it depends on amount of the details required. For example, a small cat figure I sculpt, which is about 4-5cm tall, will be 200 USD and up and a 1/6 scale full figure that stands 13inches (33cm) high will cost about 1620 USD and up.

Please note that I am a traditional sculptor; they are hand made, not computer generated. If you need likeness done, I would like 20-30 moderately in high resolution reference pictures of the face from various angles ( front, both sides of 3/4 views, and profiles.) I currently charge about 350 per a 1/6 head sculpt and molding, casting, shipping are extra.

I do paint some of my cat sculptures for you. I will need reference pictures and straight forward direction. And it costs about two hours of your current wages. For Example, if you are making 14 bucks an hour, my painting fee is 28 dollars. Sorry I do not paint my other sculptures, like human. I do not enjoy it.
