In honor of World Stray Day, we want to recognize all of the animals in our shelter.
Wichita Animal Services is an open-intake shelter, dedicated to providing a safe space for every animal in need—regardless of their health, age, breed, or behavior.
Our top priority is to reunite lost pets with their owners. When that’s not possible, our focus shifts to finding them loving homes through adoption or fostering with the help of our neighbors at the Kansas Humane Society.
But we can't do it alone—we need the support of our community to help spread the word and ensure as many animals as possible find their perfect match.

Today Colby made an appearance at Mayor Wu’s media briefing!
He gave everyone hugs and loves. This ultimate sweetie boy has been at the shelter since 3/30 and he is ready to be adopted by a family who has lots of love, energy, and time to give.
Reach out to the Kansas Humane Society and be sure to mention A175094!
He is four years old and we believe a lab/shepherd/pit mix.
