🩶 Meet Boca the Congo African Grey 🩶

Handsome Boca is a 20yo male CAG who was an owner surrender. He has lived an absolutely wonderful life with his owner near the beach. His owner is retired and with the increase in his own medical issues that comes with age, he made the difficult decision to turn Boca over to our rescue so that we may find him the best home possible.

As per our protocol with all new intakes, Boca will be disease tested, vetted, microchipped and evaluated by our rescue team prior to becoming available for adoption.

❤️💚 Green Wing Macaw for Adoption 💚❤️

Arya is a Green Wing Macaw and is almost 10yo. She is extremely intelligent. She is the kind of bird that will needs someone who has the time and dedication to spend with her. She absolutely thrives during training sessions. She loves to fly and I believe with the right person who has the time to truly commit to training, she could make an excellent free flyer. This is a high energy Macaw who is also very destructive so she will need lots of room to fly and lots of toys to destroy. She is not the bird to leave on a stand and trust to not destroy your house. 😆 Arya tends to be the dominant bird in the flock. I believe she would do better NOT being housed with other Macaws because she tends to bond and become very broody and territorial. I am not saying there can't be other Macaws around. Only that she will try to pair up and become aggressive towards people if given the chance. This can work for someone who is very experienced with Macaws and dealing with hormones and training.

Arya is fully vetted, disease tested and ready to find her family.

💙💛 Blue & Gold Macaw for Adoption 💛💙

Sheldon the Blue & Gold Macaw is still looking for his forever home. He has been with our rescue for 2+ years now and has had 3 foster trial fails. Sheldon loves men. Like loves loves men. He will claim a human man for himself and bully the wife/girlfriend unless she is very confident and experienced with large intimidating parrots. A female only household or male only household would be preferred. He has been handled by many women with no issues until he claims a man. Sheldon was DNA sexed multiple times and confirmed to be a petite male who identifies as a hen. He tries to nest in sinks, on stuffed toys, ect... lol

Overall, Sheldon is a fantastic Macaw. He loves to scream his little heart out so an outdoor aviary with cool neighbors during the daytime is required. Unfortunately due to being returned more than once due to level of volume, we have come to the conclusion that the average person cannot deal with his screams. 😅

Sheldon is approx 13yo, fully vetted, disease tested and ready to find his family.

🐢 SULCATA TORTOISE FOR ADOPTION 🐢

This is Maddox and he was found in a very rural area wandering on his own. It has been almost a full month and no owners have come forward. He is looking for a new home and family. Friendly, outgoing personality. Loves to graze on grass and Timothy/Orchard hay. No idea how old since reptiles can grow at different rates depending on diet and husbandry. 🐢

(Please do some basic research on Sulcata aka African Spur Thighed Tortoises prior to reaching out. They can get up to 200lbs. They are destructive tanks that love to bulldoze and demolish whatever is in their path. They can and will just ram through weak enclosure fencing. There's a reason why so many end up escaping. Adopter is required to have a proper approved enclosure prior to taking a Sulcata home. Please keep in mind that you must factor in winter preparations for an outdoor reptile meaning an insulated shelter for cold days/nighs)

Handsome Pablo is 7 years old and neutered. He is house trained, crate trained AND has had professional training. An absolute sweetheart who loves everyone, is great with kids, other dogs and animals. You'd never know he was 7yo with how excited he gets when it comes to playing and training.

Owner has to rehome due to extenuating circumstances.

Bobb: 4 year old, neutered. House trained, crate trained. Loves people and is great with kids. Absolutely thrives when you spend the time and ask him to do tricks. Has had professional training and would be an amazing addition to a family.

Just wanted to share some adorable updates of Tara in her new home. She has an amazing bond with her new buddies, especially with Warwick the pony. Tara sticks right by their side whether it's in the barn or down in the lower pasture and gets to roam about 5 acres of fenced pasture with them. She is constantly keeping an eye out and keeping her boys safe. Oh and of course she loves her new human family too. 🥹💕

💖 REUNITED 💖

Meiko the Sulcata has been reunited with his owner Pat! Turns out Meiko had escaped last Thurs and made it 5 houses down the street to the neighbors that found him. Most of the time when you find a lost pet, they came from the same neighborhood area. Always be vigilant and put up fliers. Talk to every neighbor! 🐢💕

Rescued near I75 and Parkland Ave by a couple of awesome kids named Caseson & Wyatt. In honor of these young heroes, we will be calling him Didley for the time being. 😊💕
