Roo with Lilith
I love my girls. We’ve had them since they were a week old. They are the sweetest babies with any puppy in the house. Lilith may not be a pitbull but she sure can hang with them. Enjoy Lilith playing with Roo
I’m not sure if you remember our Phoenix girl. We saved her right after the new year. She was found as a stray clearly we could tell she was an abandoned bait dog. Poor girl was nothing but skin and bones. Covered in bite marks. Horrible raging UTI, and hardly any teeth. I’ll post her before in the comments.
Anyway back to the video Phoenix has always wanted her space from other animals. She’s always been okay with Apollo being around her. He’s not a normal dog. We started to notice she really wanted to interact with the puppies, but we weren’t quite sure if it was the best idea. As we tried introducing my most docile adult dog aside from Apollo. She growled and lifted her lip at her.
Tonight I took the chance and let her meet Beans through her cage. I allowed slow introductions and then I let her out of the cage ready to grab him any time I needed. This sweet girl that has gone through so much is slowly letting barriers down. We are so proud of her. Tonight she got to make a new friend and played her little heart out.
Phoenix is available for adoption. We will be getting her spayed soon. If you are interested in adopting her please fill out an application at sunnypits.com/adopt
It’s safe to say this beautiful babe has found her furever home. Thank you Dorothy and Dave for opening your home to another pittie! Welcome home Pepper P!

Frankie and Beans have discovered lamb chop this morning. These sweet babies are coming out of their shells 🖤🌻
Frankie (brindle) and beans (black) are enjoying dinner time. As always puppies have an audience watching them 😂
Breakfast time with Phoenix
Phoenix is chowing down on her first small meal of the day. She is just the absolute sweetest babe. I hate to think she may have been used for a bait dog by the looks of her face.
If you’d like to help donate towards her care we would really appreciate it!

Eva enjoying her first pup cup
You know how we do here at the rescue. Pups are spoiled the second they get here. Eva’s enjoying her first Dunkin pup cup 🤘🏻🌻🖤
Look at this handsome boy!! He truly is good with other dogs and is making a huge improvement with cats. We are down to the last couple days till his foster mom moves. We really love to him his forever home, a foster is appreciated as well!!!
Our pretty girl Hazel is up and walking some. She just got a fresh bandage change. Her wounds are healing beautifully. Hazel goes tomorrow for a recheck and another bandage change with our primary. We would love to be able to pay a huge chunk of her life saving surgery off.

Mocha throwing a tantrum in her foster home
When I say the spoiling starts the second we get these sweet babes I mean it. Mocha is protesting because she’s not allowed on the couch until she’s done drying from her bath 😂

It wouldn’t be Sunny Pits without 5am play time while mom gets ready for work. Sally formerly known as Koda is coming out of her shell. Roo Roo is doing a fantastic job of teaching her how to play properly.
