In talking to a few puppy buyers and other trainers I got thinking back on the days of taking these pups great grand parents to trials. I’m had forgotten that I had created a YouTube channel. Clicking on old clips it was fun to reminisce of those past fun days and great dogs.

Here is an old clip of WTCH Kane at a trial working ducks. He loved working cattle ducks he did because I asked him to. How he got them to shoot through the Y chute makes me remember why I loved this dog so much.

Kane does not prefer to work ducks but loves to work so much he will. This is one of his runs on the way to his WTCH it's Open level Ducks

Started in her puppy bed then ended up next to me. She's learning to be a truck dog. Ran a bunch of farm errands in the pickup today. She was polite to everyone she met! I think I need to come up with a name. Suggestions welcome. We love short names and were trying to think of a Western-themed name. Maybe Spur?

As we ring in the New Year (Yes, we will backtrack and add Christmas puppy photos later). We wanted to share the last two girls of the PlumRidge Chili x PlumRidge Tam litter. All the rest have found fabulous home situations!
These two are learning to be solid citizens, they are crate-trained, and starting basic commands like sit and lie down. They are used to riding in a crate in the truck and sweet and cuddly with strangers. They play well with the big dogs and are overall just happy puppies!

Happy Gotcha Day to Holman’s Gen! She has made a wonderful addition to the PlumRidge line. Her daughters/son and grand pups are showing well on livestock and great personalities.
She is the grandmother to our current litter. (We just have two girls left for sale if anyone is still looking).

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽 to all!

Just thought we would add a little reminder that some leftovers off the table are not safe for dogs. Be careful about cooked Turkey bones, excess skin and fat. As these can easily mean a trip to the ER Vet for your furry family member.
We are giving Turkey freeze dried dinner patties as our special Thanksgiving treat for all the dogs this year.

Beginning at 11:00 am at Prairie Grove Hunting Preserve we will be hosting a Seminar with Dr. Mary Myers to talk about First Aid for your Bird dog while out in the hunting field.

After we will have a short members meeting and all those that stay to attend will receive a free raffle ticket for a COMPLETE First Aid Kit!
