Earlier this week we took the camera out on our evening walk and how the sun was hitting PlumRidge Bryn's beautiful red coat brought a smile to our face. Bryn is from the breeding of Holman's Gen by PlumRidge Tam. Tam is our boy from the PlumRidge Nap x Amelia litter. Nap was our last son to WTCH Blazin Kane. Looking at this girl I see so much of both Nap and Kane looking back at me.

We were living outside Washington DC and preparing for the move to Indiana. Never will I forget standing in my living room boxes all around and crying.

This story needs to be remembered as our canine partners were a huge help.
And it’s a yellow lab. That makes it even more special. (We have yellow lab hunting dogs).

He might be old (this is PlumRidge Nap) but he still loves the hose and biting at the water! I was filling a trail obstacle for the horses and he decided to be helpful and picked up and moved the hose three times (out of the fill area!).
Love this old man. He’s a WTCH Blazin Kane son. The father, and grandfather to my next generations.

Bryn has resided with us full time and Kloe is recently back after being puppy raised in a separate family home.
This litter just has been a blast.

Every year we volunteer to help at the Retired Racehorse Project thoroughbred Makeover. This year our PlumRidge Bryn was a good age to come along and socialize. She learned so much! Hotel elevators don’t eat puppies. And mommy won’t let her steal the toilet paper off the roll. Overall she took the trip well. Greeted strangers with polite manners and didn’t bark or jump. She is great at riding in the car for hours and learned going potty at the hotel right off the interstate is possible.

Can’t wait for her to grow up some more and start lessons on livestock!!

We love knowing that our pups are in such loving homes. This is PlumRidge Chevy. (A Tam x Chili puppy). He lives with a good friend and as you can see he’s very cuddly and spoiled!!!

It was a long trip, however PlumRidge Shooter made it safely thanks to the help of friends (who puppy sat while I was out of town). He’s living the good life in Oklahoma with a great kid!!

Our little black and white girl went home over the weekend. Her new family shared this photo today. It’s safe to say she’s comfortable in her new home!! We still have one pup remaining from the litter looking for a home. Feel free to inquire

I can’t believe this crew turned TEN years old yesterday!!! Time flies by. One of the last Aussie litters we had. As much as we enjoy the breed we are not planning to breed them at this time as we moved away from showing and are concentrated on the working dogs that help us on the farm with the livestock.

I took these yesterday (on their birthday) while they played in the mud, the wind and the water!!

So PlumRidge Pearl’s owner shared these herding photos with us last week. I added a couple pictures of grandpa WTCH HC Blazin Kane to the post. Boy, she reminds me of her grandpa!!! Very pleased with this litter!!!

Tom and Angus (our WTCH Kane x Import Cloud breeding). Won the 2020 High Point! Congratulations!!

Congratulations to Tom Trent and Angus! They took an early lead in the 2020 High Point contest and successfully held on to it all season long, winning four of eight point trials held this year.

After the RESDA Fall Trial, held on October 17, 2020, they were named our 2020 High Point Champions. A long-time RESDA member, Tom has finished in the "Top Ten" many times. This is his first championship win.
