Well this little cutie has a problem. He has a scissor beak that I believe is probably genetic in nature. So my Russian Orloffs are off the table for a while so I can do some test hatches and see if it happens again. Usually it takes both parents to carry the gene for it to be passed on, so as I hatch I will be doing some rearranging so as to make sure the culprit is removed from the breeding flock.

She's not looking to happy. I candled her eggs and she's not making any babies either. Thankfully I got some in the incubator she can have when the time is right.

My Silkies are growing out so nicely. In this pen we have a chance of St*****rs and Showgirls! I do have a serama hen and 2 bantam Cochin hens but the silkies will be purebred as I only have Silkie roosters in this pen.
