Our Snowy Sleigh Serenity is a light and bright interactive set! A bench is included and can be moved around or out of the set for standing photos. Faux snowballs are included and you are welcome to pull the kiddos around in our gorgeous wooden sled alongside an adorable disco ball snowman for the perfect insta-worthy moment. Our Bells and Brilliance set is moody and neutral with hanging glitter trees, snowflakes, baubles and adorable wicker bells. I did it!! First full photo session DONE! Some of my favorite peoples and another group of amazing dogs rescued by ThisIsHouston It went perfectly, and I'm so proud to say that my tendon repair was a success! I'm down to start booking shoots!

I'm BACK!!! (sort of) 09/05/24

July 2nd I had surgery to repair the tendons in my right arm.

I am thrilled to be given the green light by my surgeon yesterday to finally remove my splint and start with some strength training next week. I am confident I will be able to hold my camera for sessions beginning next month!

I will probably not be doing mini sessions for the holiday season as I do not want to over stress the tendons. If this changes I will of course post here with a booking date!

In the meantime, let's get you and your family on the calendar for holiday photos! It's never too early!

Just a heads up, I'll be taking 6-8 weeks off beginning next week (July 2nd) to recover from a surgery on my right elbow. I'm sad to be in a position to have to have the surgery but hoping and crossing my fingers I'll be back in the fall with NO PAIN holding my camera. I timed this surgery during the hottest and nastiest months in Texas....so I can be back and ready for family photos in the fall! I ALREADY miss shooting as I have really taken a step back in recent months due to the pain. I look forward to coming back and I hope you all will remember me (and want photos!)

Our ancient ones....with all of their lumps and grays and failing hearing, we love them. We adore them more than our hearts know was capable.
Sometimes a photoshoot is simply taking an hour to sit with your aging loved one while we chat over a coffee and you tell me all about them. I love to hear their stories. It brings my heart such joy to capture their spirit and their love for you in their eyes....
My end of life sessions are a bit different than my normal pup sessions. The shoot is ALL about them, their comfort, their happiness.
I don't put a time limit, as it is not important. I may get our shots within ten minutes, or it may take over an hour. Its ok. I prefer to take the time...honestly. These old souls tug at my heart and they deserve to be captured in the most beautiful ways.
Don't wait. There's no time like the present.
