If you want a feel good Saturday story, here it is!

Precious, the poodle we found roaming, was REUNITED!! She belonged to a woman who runs a reaidential house for the elderly just two streets over from us. The poodle wandered up to them around 6 weeks ago and after trying to find an owner, she decided to keep her because her clients fell in love with her sweet demeanor! They were beyond THRILLED to have her back home, and thankful for her being clean and kept well.

We offered to provide free grooming and preventions for their three dogs who stay with the old folks. We will also provide assistance with vetting for them as well at no added costs to them. It's what we do! People helping people!

We try so hard not to become cynical when you find a dog who is in a state of need. You never know what others go through. Its important to remember that our job and purpose is to provide assistance to people to help them keep their dogs, not take them away. We are so proud and blessed to do what we do, and to offer assistance to those who deserve it.

We also now have some news friends, who invited us back to play bingo with their elderly and we will definitely be participating soon! If you'd like to show your support, their business is called Mary’s Blessing-Residential. ❤️ 🐾

What does K&M Canines do? Well, we help dogs in need become their best selves! From behavioral issues, to medical problems. We do it all FOR the dogs!

Take Luna here for example. She was returned to her rescue by an adopter looking like this. She had no where to go, and no one knew anything about her. So she came here so we could get to know her and heal her wounds both physically and mentally. Healing begins with the body first, then we can help the mind.

At just under 2 years old, this sweet baby was clearly suffering for some time. But just LOOK at her NOW! 😍

She arrived on February 23rd. Just look at the progress we've made by simply providing healthy diet, healthy environment and a few vitamins!

Apple!!

Talk about personality! Apple is a fun female husky who is your atypical female. She's dominant, a bit pushy about play, and stubborn when she doesn't want to do things. But !! She loves people, makes fast friends, and is a total goofball! Fun, athletic and eager to please, Apple would do great in any home situation with previous husky experience. Be it as an addition, or a single!

Recieved this scam notice in my business page this morning. Making others aware of it as many will see the profile picture and assume it's official Facebook. Not the case. This is scammers, using Facebook algorithms and logo's to scam business. Do NOT ever click on links that do not belong to official pages. You can typically tell this by the address they post. Official Meta business would not use such a name for posting, nor would they contact you in this way..

Please be cautious of your surroundings while online, these guys will go through extensive lengths to steal your information.

Stay alert.

Bowie is here for some behavioral rehabilitation, and has been making STRIDES! He is still learning to socialize and play, but he's doing great with our very tolerant pack of adoptables! Eventually, one he completes our training, he will be available for adoption through our pals at Houston Chow Chow Connection! Stick around for more of Bowie and others!

It is HOT outside y'all.

Please be sure to keep your pets INDOORS and with plenty of access to water at all times! It is deadly out here for them at present, and this kind of weather is not safe to be out in. Avoid it if you can, and get your pets out in the 'cooler' hours of the day. Our schedules have changed into split days to avoid the heat! No way we keep our pets outside during this! Keep your pets safe, and stay hydrated friends! It's pretty intense out here!

Sampson is just one of several chow chows hanging out with us until he finds his new home! He's a fun loving hound who is energetic and loves to play! While he may not do best in a home with kids, cats or other dogs, he will certainly keep your home entertaining!

This poor guy has struggled after being abandoned by his owner in boarding at a vet sveral months ago. So now he needs some help readjusting to life on the 'outside.' 😆

The face of one wanting ALL the lovins!

Pepper is also a newbie here, and is taking it easy after his recent neuter. This sweet boy is all husky and a total LOVE BUG! He just follows us around the yard, wanting hugs, head pats, belly scratches, and cuddles! Anyone need a good cuddle bud?

Our rescue took in a young 3 month old puppy last night that is full of worms and covered in ringworm. He's a total love bug though, and going to be a big guy as he already weighs almost 30 lbs!!

He will need treatment for his worms, then need a neuter, vaccinations and a microchip before going up for aadoption.
