💜 We Need Your Help to Make a Difference! 💜

Hi everyone! We’re excited (and a bit nervous) to share that we’ve started a GoFundMe campaign to help us open Evanston Pet Center's retail location. This store and the work we do is close to our hearts, and we know the difference it can make in the North Shore.

🌟 Why This Means So Much to Us:
We all miss WPC so much and we want to continue that legacy of Dave's with our new pet center. We've been doing it all on our own so far, and now we could use some support from the local pet-loving community.

✨ How You Can Help:
Every bit helps, and any support you can give - whether it’s donating or simply sharing our story - means the world to us. Even small donations add up in a big way!

💜 Thank You for Being a Part of This Journey:
We’re so grateful to have friends like you by our side. Together, we can make this happen!

To our Wilmette Pet Family.

Alexander Dowd and Christopher Hall, manager of the former Wilmette Pet Center, are proud to announce that we have banded together to continue the work we learned from our mentor Dave.

There is nothing we want more than to work toward meeting the standards we held for all our pet loving families. We hope to see you and all your animals at the new Evanston Pet Center, and that you'll follow along with us at:

Greetings to our extended Wilmette Pet family.

It is with the deepest sadness to say that this evening Dave Cozzolino passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends and family, all of our thoughts and prayers, and lots of laughs and memories. We have lost a great friend, mentor, and animal lover who made all of our lives more rich. We're better for having known him.

He requested no funeral services; instead, a Celebration of Life will be held. We'll post the details as soon as we know them. It'll be one hell of a party. I'm sure donation in his name to the Les Turner Foundation, that was such a huge help to him, or to your favorite local animal charity like Adopt-A-Pet at www.adoptapetpet-il.org or Community Animal Rescue Effort - CARE, causes dear to his heart, would be thoughtful.

As my favorite author Terry Pratchett says: "No one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away, until the clock wound up winds down, until the wine she made has finished its ferment, until the crop they planted is harvested. The span of someone’s life is only the core of their actual existence." He had an enormous existence. He will be missed, but the ripples he created in his life will take a long time to fade, so he will not be forgotten.

Go hug your loved ones, and your pets.

Love to all,
Christopher
