People ask about Kakariki a lot. Here’s what you need to know. Are they cuddly? Not really one to stick around for scratching and snuggles but… They are adorable, soft and their sounds are sweet and mellow. They can learn words. They nibble on EVERYTHING. Toes, fingers, neck, nails, ears, lips, clothing. Never ending. Their claws grow twice as fast as any bird I’ve met. They move non stop hopping and climbing most of the time. They love fruits and veggies and taking baths.
