Biddlebrook's Amazing Grace is truly amazing. She is owned by Bob and Sandra Caruso. I have the pleasure of visiting with her at shows. She is handled by Monique Mastrapasqua and working toward her Grand Championship. She is currently working on her agility, obedience and water titles. A girl just can't be simply beautiful:)

Sunday and Monday were big days for the Biddlebrook girls. Congrats! Thank you Monique Mastrapasqua for doing an excellent job handling. We are forever grateful.

Rethinking the type of home for Bennie. I had him today without the other dogs. What a great day. He was excellent and focused. We trained three times since the bad weather prevented us from walking. I am opening the look for Bennie’s future family. I believe he would be an excellent only dog:)

I found the interesting since Bennie the pup I just took back was given this one dose at 14 weeks. He reacted with paralysis in the rear. Presently, he has a slight head bob when anxious. This stuff is poison

Bennie had a big day today. We went to obedience class for the second time. He is catching on quickly. Then we took a trip to a farm. He was off leash and very careful around the horses. It was amazing how good he was. Most dogs see a horse and act crazy.
His recall is spot on so he free ranged for a while with my friends dogs. He needs exercise because his rear muscles need building. What a great morning.

Bennie is free to a home that meets all his needs

Thanks for all the comments about Bennie. . What a difference one week makes. He is jumping, can target an object and fitting in well with all. He's hysterical. Barks at himself in he window while his Mom, Millie barks at all the dogs on television. Animal Planet isn't an option for me.
I tried to give him a bath today. He was really afraid. So I washed and dried Millie and fed him treats. At the end of it all I was able to get the dryer on him for a period.
He really loves other dogs and plays well.
I spend about three hours a day walking and formally training him. The changes as a result of this process are striking.
But he still has a lot to learn. He really likes a job. After a training session he naps quietly. He walks nicely on a leash.
I am looking for a home now for him. Four dogs aren't an option for me in my neighborhood during the summer, according to my HOA. Since all my dogs look alike I can fool them for awhile.
Here is what I am looking for Bennie.
* Experienced sport dog owner with at least one other dog.
The rationale being he learns from them and needs the increased play time to meet his high energy.
* No children under 18. The rationale is he needs consistency. He's very smart and will manipulate and get away with murder if there are people not knowing what he needs in the environment.
*A person willing to train him in a formal obedience program or have excellent dog training skills. He will quickly learn he is not the boss from this experience
This pup has been on tranquilizers for awhile. He has successfully learned how to be calm all on his own with me in this short time. I give Bennie lots of stars for being able to do this. He is engaging but still needs an owner who can teach him how to calm. Ie, when begging for food and jumping around put him in a sit stay. It's as simple as that.
He is house trained. Apparently this was a problem in his previous home. He has had three poops in my house. I scolded him and he has been clean since.
Structure and consistency will be the key to his future success which all dogs deserve from us. PM if you have any interest.

Nuggett ( Bennie) came back to us Monday. THe video is of morning playtime with his mom, sister and crazy Aunt Charlie. Mine are a vocal group. He is fitting in well. I will be looking to rehome him once off his medications and finished with all his health checks. I need to get to know him and be comfortable with where he is going. This can take sometime.
He was on large doses of trazodone and is on 10% of his previous dosage with no problems. He has an eye exam on Sunday. He will be completely off his anxiety meds this weekend. Apparently he was spinning and resource guarding in his old home. I haven't experienced any guarding and spinning only occurs if he is excited. No spinning while working, walking or with me. He is subtle and kind and a little scared of his own shadow.
He loved food and long walks
He loves other dogs.
Chases cats
Should be in a home with people who are very familiar with consistent dog training. He loves it! I teach him something once and he retains it. When he is working there is no stress exhibited.
Walks well on a leash.
Obsesses in the kitchen when I am cooking, so that's off limits.
Compulsively eats paper but we are trying to train this problem.
Hasn't chewed anything in my house except his bones.
He is good while we are eating.
Housetrained. He pooped once and quickly learned I wasn't gonna have that s**t.
Minimal barking but learning fast from my girls.
No young children or teenagers. He is sweet and kind with everybody. He needs a predicable environment. This is a must.
He needs a job like all our dogs.
I know he is coming along quickly. He jumped in bed with me this morning slapped on a wet kiss and rested. I didn't move for 10 minutes because this was a milestone in our relationship

Please no negative words. The family returned him to me. It wasn't a good fit. I will keep everyone abreast of his daily successes.
