📢 Important Update for Our Clients! 📢
Some of you may already know that we have decided to discontinue the offering of a**l gland expression services here at Wild Wilmington. This decision took effect September 1, 2024.
While we strive to provide the best care for your pets, a**l gland expression is a specialized procedure that carries certain risks. Unlike vets, groomers do not have the same level of training to identify and address potential health issues related to a**l glands.
Ideally, dogs should be able to express their glands on their own; if they cannot, it may indicate a bigger problem that needs veterinary attention. In an effort to help everyone better understand why we’ve made this decision; we have attached a link with more information that explains why it’s best to have your vet perform this specific service for your pet. https://countrycareac.com/2017/01/09/a**l-glands/
Thank you for your understanding, and as always, we appreciate your trust in us to care for your furry friends! 🐾❤️
