Due to no fault of her own we are seeking a pet home for one of our girls, Naamah. She will need to have a home where there are no small animals, small dogs, or other female dogs as she has a high prey drive. She would do best with a family that has a very active life style that would take her on hikes and other adventures.

Please PM us for more information if you think you can give this special girl a good home. We hate to see her go but she deserves her own family and attention we can not give her at this time.

Planned litter for this summer! Our Northern Inuit, Rina, will be paired with this handsome Tamaskan (G2), Atlas. We are hoping that this pairing will further the white northern Inuit lines in North America because both parents are carriers of the white gene. Fingers crossed for some very wolfie looking white and silver puppies this year.

The last day! What a week it has been. We hope you all have enjoyed learning about our dogs. The funny thing about the future is you can think and plan out but no one really can predict the future. These past few years have been full of challenges, getting married, moving, husband having a heart attack, dogs not getting pregnant, and missing breeding opportunities.
Our goal in 2024 is to bounce back from these challenges and produce some amazing puppies for the Northern Inuit and Wolfalike community. We are looking forward to completing Naamah and Zivas health tests and any future pairings with them will be announced on our social media platforms. In addition, we can’t wait to health test our future stud, Rory. Speaking of pairings and the future, we have a plan to mate Rina for her third litter this spring to a lovely boy right here in the USA! Atlas is a stunning Tamaskan boy that we hope will produce some beautiful white (yes we said white) puppies with our gorgeous Rina. “I aim to misbehave”

Now for the marvelous mascots of IronSword!

We have Violet who was the first born puppy here at IronSword. She is the first puppy from our first ever litter! She is our only girl from a Rina and Mij pairing from early 2021. Violet has a gentle disposition and wants nothing more than to snuggle on a couch. Her best friend is Rory who also happens to be her nephew from her fathers side. Rory might be close to twice her size but she makes up for that with her wild and crazy maneuvers.

⚔️some of her hobbies are zoomies, begging, and starting howling sessions with her pack.

⚔️favorite tv character is Daredevil

⚔️favorite food is whatever is on your plate

Roscoe came to IronSword as part of a package deal when I married my husband. He is, to the best of our knowledge, a beagle and terrier mix. One thing we know for sure is he enjoys snuggling as much as he does playing with dogs three times his size. When Roscoe is not busy tracking rabbits, he can be found snoozing on the couch.

⚔️Hobbies - Rabbit tracking, napping in odd places, barking at cars on the road.

17 hour drive….. one way. That’s how long it took to drive up to Points Unknown kennel. The dog sledding and wilderness adventure camp was just off the Canadian and USA boarder. It was at the start of Covid lockdowns and here I was driving up to the Minnesota wilderness to pick up my newest stud, Basso. Linda Newman allowed me to adopt Basso to further my Northern Inuit breeding program.

Basso is very selective with his humans and because of that he was very influential in my dating life. My husband had Basso coming up to him instantly after 3 minutes of meeting him when we first started dating. Basso is a very good judge of character and an empathetic dog. He always has a way of making sure all of the dogs in his play group get along and is very good at being the peacekeeper.

Basso has sired two litters with IronSword and has since been neutered. His genes live on through his puppies (and in a freezer waiting for other ladies down the road).

⚔️his favorite it’s hobby is watching pro wrestling (we are actually serious with this one. he will sit there and watch TV) 📺

We have one boy that is already fully health tested from him and our Rina. We would like to introduce Cailean who lives with his family in Florida, USA. Cailean is a lovely boy who has his fathers looks but his mothers sassy personality.

“I’m not a lady. I have never have been. It’s not me.”

Now for our two young ladies of the pack. Naamah and Ziva are just a month apart in age but are night and day…. Literally and figuratively. Naamah is our silver colored home-bred girl from Rina and Hedlund Husky Basso. Ziva, our darkest dog, was acquired from Susan Meldrum in Scotland. One thing they do have in common is an abundance of energy and strong personalities.
Both of these girls will have their health tests completed this year. Their boyfriends will be announced once their health tests are passed.

Rina, the dog that started it all. Hailing from Kayentay Northern Inuits in Scotland Rina is our first dog and foundation female for our kennel.

Some fun facts about Rina.
⚔️Her hobbies include chasing deer, digging under fences, and floating in the pool.
⚔️Her favorite TV character is Inara Serra from Firefly.
⚔️Favorite food is a puppuccino

Rinas parents were a lovely white Northern Inuit named Storm and a silver Northern Inuit female named Aria. It is our hope that Rina will give us some white puppies in her final litters. We will post our future plans for Rina at the end of the week.

🐺⚔️The week of IronSword⚔️🐺

It all started with a single Northern Inuit puppy flying into the Chicago, IL USA airport in the spring of 2018. Our Rina was bred at Kayentay Kennels in bonny Scotland and would be our legacy/foundation female moving forward. We are located in Ohio, USA on the north eastern side of the country.

Flash forward and IronSword has 5 Northern inuits, a Hedlund Husky, and a small but mighty terrier beagle mix. We can not wait to introduce all of them to you this week!

⚔️🐺The Week of IronSword🐺⚔️

“I have no idea what I am doing, but I know I am doing it really really well”

Rory is the most recent addition to our pack and youngest dog, but he is not the smallest. This gentle giant is as sweet as he is formidable. Rory can adjust his play style to rough it up with our fiercest and then be so gentle and easy with our smallest and timid dogs.

He was bred by Julie Yule at Kayentay Kennels in Scotland and made the big trip across the pond to us here in Ohio, USA. His dam is the gorgeous Lux, one of Julie’s girls. And his sire is the sensational Cody, Ingrid Houwers boy.

We here at IronSword have great hopes for Rory to be a premier stud dog when he comes of age. And, look forward to strengthening the Northern Inuit lines here in America.
