Boomer hadn’t been at the shelter for very long before he was put on the kill list 😢. He was initially tagged for rescue but that fell through so now he is in a shelter foster home. This scared but probably sweet boy needs a new loving home so he can show you what a good boy he can be.

ASAP pleassse help

Fort Worth, TX - 12YO female terrier

Tequila is a beautiful girl who has been dealt a cruel hand. She has tested positive for both herpes and adenovirus. These are both livable diseases that just take some extra TLC to manage. They are not contagious to humans but can be passed to other dogs. She has been networked everywhere. Rescues won’t touch her. She’s running out of time and going back to the shelter is a death sentence for her.

Her foster writes: I pulled her for the weekend to give her a spa day because she was absolutely disgusting and in poor condition. I’m choosing not to post those photos in the main post because I want people to see her looking her best. She is sweet, docile, seems to be cat friendly, and still has plenty of life left. She needs a home either as the only dog, or with another dog who has Herpes, too. She doesn’t deserve to die because of an illness she didn’t choose. Please share Tequila’s post and reach out to me if you are interested in fostering or adopting her. I can transport within several hours of DFW.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 ongoing issue w/pack of about 6 stray aggrs dogs cont roaming area / req sweep elderly citizen afraid

8/11 Approaching kennel, sitting at the back of the kennel when trying to leash dog would move from side to side avoiding leash, whale eyes, lip licking. Used a long leash to lasso him and once i place the leash he slowly walked out with a crouched body, lip licking. walked into kennel, unable to remove the leash

8/10 approaching kennel dog was laying in front. when opened door he step back and lying in the corner of kennel with low face and dilated pupils. offered treats and was able to place the leash however dog refused to move. placed muzzle and another act helped me to carried him with a blanket to the new kennel.
