Our last Market on the Square of the season
Don't miss out on meeting some of our littlest animals or taking a ride on our unicorn/horse.
We have had the best time here and are so so greatful for this amazing opportunity!!!
We are also beyond thankful for our amazing volunteers for spending their time with us and helping our program grow.!!!
Come check us out!!!

Penny Ambler!!!
Summer is almost here. Our sweet PigDawg is cooling off in the pond during our walk.
Never thought I could love a pig as much as I love this boy. He truly is one of a kind!!!
P.s. he absolutely loves marshmallows so if you ever make it out to the Ranch this summer those are his snuggle fees 🤣😂
A couple weeks ago we took in 4 bottle baby kittens. Their ages at the time of intake were just 1 1/2 weeks old. They are now roughly 3 weeks old and doing very well!!!
We will be doing a fundraiser to help raise funds for full vet care on these little nuggets before they will be available for adoption.
These little guys have been doing fantastic and will make amazing additions.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
Clearly something is going on with our page as I have attempted to post this atleast 3 times now.
Here it goes again….
Pig Dawg is always ready for some lovins’
He is such the sweetest boy!!!
Beacon Update:
We picked this girl up at an auction in November. We have learned a lot about this sweet girl in the couple months of being here.
Her teeth were so bad they were causing her to be sore in the mouth. Even just pushing on the sides of her mouth she would get very uncomfortable. It would take her along time to eat and could not be ridden at all. (How she managed to be ridden through the sale blows my mind.) We we’re able to get her teeth taken care of by our amazing equine Dentist Jeremy Chenoweth!!! She has put some weight on and now rides pretty well. (We still have work to do with riding before she can be used in the program.) Her future here looks pretty promising.
The other issue she had was over grown hooves. (This is an every 8 week maintenance on a horse). We soon found out Beacon had some trouble lifting her front feet. She would strike out, lay down, or rear up anytime you tried to pick up her feet. So we had some work to do in that area. Thanks to our amazing Volunteer Alicia we were able to get the job done. With the farriers second visit we managed to get all her feet done with very minimal incident. Huge thank you to Keith and Jill Creech for getting our girls feet taken care of.
It takes an army to get these animals back in good health. There are so many people that play a big role In all this. We couldn’t do this with out you. Huge thank you for everyone who supports us and our mission.
Our sweet girl Molly is still in search of a foster home.
She is loving all the attention here at the ranch!!!
She is great with kids and our dogs here. She stays right by you and won’t leave your side. She loved sitting with my Husband while he worked on side by side.
If you are interested in fostering Molly or potentially wanting to adopt her please contact us and get an application started!!!!
LETS FIND HER A FOSTER BEFORE THE NEW YEAR!!!
Hey Ranch family just wanted to give a quick update on the 2 Dane pups we took in.
We have had them checked for microchips and unfortunately they did not have any.
We have reached out to many different facilities in Hopes someone would turn up for them (there are many different circumstances that could have led these babies to be in this condition so we can’t speculate that they were neglected).
With all this being said we are taking them to the vet tomorrow afternoon to have a full vet work done for them. We will have them microchipped as well. (We won’t be able to have them spayed or neutered until their condition is improved).
After the vet the next step will be finding them foster homes until they will be able to be adopted.
We may have a potential foster/adopter for the female but will be looking for a foster for the male.
If you are interested in foster/adopting please send us a private message and we can get you a foster application. (Requirements to foster/adopt experience with large breeds or have the ability to work with someone closely with them, MUST FULLY UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE BEEN STARVED AND WILL REQUIRE MORE ATTENTIVENESS AT FEEDING TIMES, and must understand there is an adjustment period for the dogs. Things don’t fall into place for a rescue the first night it takes time. But I can tell you just the time we’ve had them here at the ranch it will be TOTALLY worth it).
We can also give you a little more information on the dogs to ensure they would be a good fit for you.
We want to give them the best rest of their life and will be making sure they will be with their forever family.
Today was such a beautiful day!!!
Beacon is settling in beautifully here. I got to have some much needed horse therapy today. She was laying in the sun. I took the opportunity to sit next to her and have a good long conversation. She laid there the entire time. Her eyes are so kind and the trust she already has in me is amazing.
I am so thankful she feels this safe here.
Thank you for today Beacon!!!
Hey Ranch Family!!!
We have some pretty exciting news. We would love to introduce our newest resident and Baby Kia!!!!
She IS NOT a rescue but never the less loved just as much.
We hope that she will be an ambassador in our program and give people an amazing opportunity to have an encounter they will never forget.
As of right now she is much to young to meet our ranch family in person (much like a newborn baby we have to keep her safe and healthy).
Until then we will keep you posted on her as time goes on.
Again thank you all so much for your love and support!!!
Well I am happy to report that Rocky is out of Purdue.
He will be staying with our friend Natalie Bell at Painted Bell Ranch for the week. I will not be in town to keep a constant eye on him so she offered to care for him while we are away.
He will be monitored closely for any further complications or lingering effects of his episode.
We can’t thank everyone enough for your donations, shares and overall support. These last few months have been so difficult for us at the ranch. But seeing the out pour of love over Rocky has been so uplifting.
We are still collecting donations to help for Rocky’s vet bill. We love each and everyone of you and could not continue our mission without your support.
Guess who finally made it to the new property!!!!
They are settled into their temporary enclosure. I wouldn’t say they are the most agile creatures lol.
We are in search of a corn crib. The wire open kind of anyone may have some leads.
Yesterday we were down at Anderson speedway for their yearly Out of the Darkness walk.
The turn out was great… Buck made it 1 1/2 laps before he needed to stop for water.
So much went into this event. We weren’t sure what to expect but we will definitely be doing this every year.
How are you keeping your cool during this heat wave???
Our PIG DAWG gets sprayed a few times a day to keep him cooled down. I don’t think he likes it at all do you? Lol
Pease keep our Desmond in your thoughts right now.
He is colicing.
vet is on her way
It doesn’t look good.
When things seem to be going right something goes terribly wrong.
So happy with this boy. He is going to be an amazing asset to our program!!!
Miss Suzie got out to stretch her legs!! The weather has been perfect for her to spend some outside time. She loves to soak up the sunshine!!!
Did you know Suzie will grow to be almost 100 lbs??!?!
Suzie is a Sulcata Tortoise also known as an African Spurred Tortoise.
She is 10 years old and can reach up to 100 years.
Guess who made it to their new home!!!!
With multiple escape attempts by Desmond and Digsby at the old property, we decided to halt all other projects and work on getting the fencing up. Working literally 12 hours for multiple days we managed to get it far enough to that we could put them here. We still need to hang wire and set up the electrical box properly but they are here!!!!!
Guess who made it to the new property!!!
Lamar (the sheep) is so excited to be with his pony Baby. They grew up together and where inseparable. Once we brought Tinkerbell home we thought it was best to put the ponies together and Lamar was introduced to the orphaned twins Larry and Whiney.
Now they are all back together and seem to be happy again.
The littles got out for some exercise this evening!!!
We are wanting the grass to get more established before we really let them on it.
I think they are happy with their new home!!!
