o have lost everything, including the animal they love…
Some come from cruel homes where their parents have abused them…
Some come with pre-existing conditions… yet that does not mean they shouldn’t have a home where they can love their humans and be loved in return. Unconditionally… It goes both ways. When we are ill and have lost health insurance, is it fair that the next insurance company holds our pre-existing conditions against us? Absolutely NOT! Some come from backyard breeders who sell the pups as a very low cost in order to bring in money. They do not care who the pups go to, nor do they do background checks on them. They don’t require paperwork signed stating that the pup is to come back to them if the person purchasing the pup cannot keep it any longer. BEWARE OF BACKYARD BREEDERS!!! They are not in it for the animals. They are in it for the crisp bills that gets put into pockets and spent with their hands. Many times these animals are cast about from home to home, from shelter to shelter, or delivered to a kill shelter, if a home cannot be found in time. Sometimes if a foster can be found, they end being transported from one state to another by loving stewards who give of themselves, money for gas out of pocket, and their time, (time on the road, time away from home), so these innocent pets can be adopted immediately or placed in foster care until an adopting loving parent can be found. Devoted adoptive parents who will love them and will protect them, and commit to look out for their well-being forever. Have you ever considered adopting a ‘castoff’ pet? One that is not a shiny brand new puppy or kitten, polished and new like a copper penny? If you cannot adopt, have you ever considered donating money and/or items needed to a charity of healing for their comfort, security, health, welfare, and for their prosperity? They are all deserving of that… Don’t you agree? If you are a praying person, please pray about this and ask God if there is a needy pet out there that is meant for you to cherish?
