💜TRIXIE needs some angels in her corner! Thank God that she made her way to us and has already a few wonderful people on her side!
‼️See, TRIXIE was adopted in NE CT by local animal control and the couple that adopter her were told that she was a healthy 3 year old dog. (She is really 8-10 years old) After spending $800+ at her vet visit, they found that to be far from the case. Currently, Trixie is believed to be deaf due to an untreated double ear infection that has been left untreated for who knows how long. (Yes, even during her time that she was with animal control!) Trixie urinates everywhere and screams at night, despite not being crated.
❤️‍🩹TRIXIE was being given away on FB, and even though we were in touch with the owners, they decided to give her away on a first-come-first-serve basis without screening anyone interested. Lucky for Trixie, she ended up with a Good Samaritan who reached out to someone and eventually we were back in the loop in Trixie Land. Trixie is now a PRR dog.
🩺TRIXIE will need plenty of more vet care prior to even being spayed. She will need to have re checks on her current ailments and then get extensive bloodwork done to ensure she is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia for her spay and possibly dental. 👂🏻We hope to know more about her deafness within the next couple of weeks.

ADOPTED! MORE COMING SOON...Trio of gingers ready to patrol your premises! They are semi feral and are used to living outside, so they are sick of being in a cage (3rd one in a different photo) and would like to get to work. They are used to the sight of people though. No adoption fee for these fully vetted kitties (that means neutered, vaccinated & microchipped and we have to pay for all that) although donations are appreciated. They just need a secure location to acclimate to the new digs. If you want to be on the barn cat list, let us know, as there is someone interested in these guys. Email [email protected]!
