It can't be empty! Hey! I have an idea...I'll go roll around outside and get dirty again so we can do it all over. I'll make that sacrifice for more puppy latte!

Hi my pittie lovin' friends! I know one of you has room for this sweet girl in your home and heart. Look at those beautiful almond eyes...don't they just melt your heart? What's that you say? You can't take a dog right now? Well, how about you share Nyla on your page. Let's get the word out about this sweet, playful girl! Woof you!

Back in February, my agents put out a plea for a new situation for me. They even got me a feature spot on Shelley’s Puppies to try to get the word out. Unfortunately, no one stepped forward to adopt me or give me a new foster home. I don’t understand it. Aren’t I pretty enough? Aren’t I polite on the leash and make a good enough co-pilot in the car? What more does a girl have to do to get noticed?
So many other BARC dogs have come and gone into their happily ever afters, and here I sit month after month waiting for someone to love me enough to make me theirs.

It’s just not fair.

Yesterday I was picked up and taken on a long ride to my new abode: the BARC hotel. I was excited to see that BARC lady again. The car ride was fun. I can’t say I’m digging these new accommodations, though. There’s a nice cot in a climate-controlled room that has my old blankie on it, I get two squares a day and I had a nice walk earlier, but…I’ve got to say… it’s sadly lacking in the creature comforts I had grown used to. There are no soft couches and beds to sneak up on and nap. There’s no big window to look out and watch the squirrels in the backyard from the comfort of the daybed. And I’m really not a fan of the loud, bangy thing called a “doggy door”. You want me to push my delicate head into that hard plastic and crawl through a hole in the wall to go from outside to inside, and vice versa? Just…no. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe next week. But today…today I’m going to sulk.
