We continue to have to say “no” to pleas for help for dogs and it absolutely breaks my heart. The reality is that we cannot help additional dogs until we find forever homes for the dogs in our care. At this point all of them are long term here.

PLEASE help me share our current residents to help them find their forevers. I KNOW there are great homes out there for Sampson & Delilah, Freyja, and Nephele!!!!

I know we are a smaller rescue with less visibility but you can help get the word out 📣📣📣

I’m full and it breaks my heart I can’t take this girl in. This is what happens when dogs stay here longer than they should. I have to say no and it’s absolutely the worst part of rescue.

Have you ever wanted a velvet hippo?? Well then Princess is your girl!!

She is approximately 8 years old and spayed. She is a very loving and energetic girl who has been continuously passed by and overlooked by everyone. She is on an inexpensive (like super affordable) medication for life to treat hypothyroidism. She also will need to be the only pet. Those two things plus her breed seem to be what steers people away, but those things are not her fault and she deserves a loving home and a family of her own. If you're still reading this and considering adoption, her adoption fee will be waived, she will be currently vaccined for rabies/distemper, and she will come with a 3 month supply of medication. This New Year we need to find forever homes for the long term pups in our care. They are all great dogs just waiting for the right homes!

Freyja is our shepherd mix who came to us over 6 months ago after her owner passed away and she deserves a new loving family!

Nephele is a goofy girl who may not like other pups, but loves people and play! She has been here nearly a year after being dumped at a pound when her owners were through with her for breeding

Sampson and Delilah are the best of buddies and a bounded pair, but are just as affectionate with people! If you are looking for companionship in a dog- consider this duo! What’s better than one loyal affectionate snuggle bug? 2 of course!!!
