They aren’t horses, but two other lives who came crashing in to mine. The puppy was surrendered to me with Parvo and has made a full recovery (she’ll be looking for a home!) The sweet kitty was found in the round with a broken pelvis and both hind legs broken. She also suffered internal injuries that did not allow her to survive. But she was not in pain and given so much love
Meet Prima!
This mid 20’s OTTB is ready for her forever home! She is 15.3 and a blast on the trails. She is a little rusty in the arena but no buck, rear, etc. we have been unable to decipher her tattoo. She is UTD on vaccines, teeth, shoes, coggins and has a small rehoming fee of $500 through Green Bean’s Safe Haven. References required!

Natural Destroyer, who was not only completely blind but also deaf, was given the gift of freedom. He was surrounded by love when he passed and he no longer has to live every moment in fear. Run free sweet man
Giving Tuesday is the biggest fundraising day of the year for non-profits. So while we humbly beg for your donations, I will include an update on Natural Destroyer aka Mike aka Stevie our blind horse. After careful observation for the last several days we have determined he is also almost completely deaf, he can only hear noises in certain octaves, the higher ones. Lacking both sight and sound he has no way to safely navigate his world. He spends most of his day in one spot and doesn’t move. He jumps when you first touch him, but once you touch him he tries to stay touching you. He really is so sweet, but we are in the process of deciding what is going to be best for him moving forward

Meet Natural Destroyer aka Mike aka Stevie. He is a completely blind standardbred that has come to us from Texas. After settling for a couple of weeks we will be looking for a foster or forever home for him!
We have had so much going on! Prima had her upper airway scoped and she does not have a mass, just a lot of ouss which was flushed out! She then went to her foster home. Keep an eye out because Prima will soon be available for adoption!
