We want to inform you about the recent developments regarding the tropical disturbance currently in the area. According to the latest updates, this storm is expected to upgrade to a tropical storm by Saturday as it moves toward Florida. While the exact path is still uncertain, there is a possibility that it could intensify into a hurricane.

As a precaution, we want to reiterate our unwavering commitment to prioritizing the safety of our staff and your beloved pets during potentially threatening weather conditions. Therefore, we will decide by tomorrow regarding any necessary actions for your pet's safety.

Due to the uncertainty of the weather, we may require that your pet be picked up by Saturday evening. If necessary, please ensure an authorized person is available for pick-up. We must have the first and last name of the person picking up your pet and the time they will arrive. Pick-up times will be available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM or 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Saturday.

Daycare is intended for dog social canines who enjoy interacting with other dogs without excessive fear, stress, anxiety, reactivity, or aggression. Not all dogs are daycare candidates, and that's okay!

Participation depends entirely on displaying safe, consistent, appropriate, and manageable behavior, confidence around other dogs/people, balanced social behavior, basic obedience skills, self-regulating ability, and a genuine desire to be in a social group setting.

We'll be the ones to say it: daycare is not a fix for underlying behavioral issues such as but not limited to reactivity, guarding, or antisocial behavior. We always recommend seeking professional behavioral modification with a trainer for behavioral concerns. It is not safe to knowingly try and bring your pet into a social setting with underlying behavioral issues or concerns.

✅ As we gear up for the holiday season, enrollment for our dog daycare and boarding services will be closing in October!

We do this for a few reasons:
1. To control our availability for our established clients as we are a limited care facility and cap our guests per day.
2. Established clients have priority booking to ensure their pups have a spot during this busy time for daycare and boarding.
3. Helps us control the number of guests visiting us during peak seasons, which helps us limit the in and out of random guests just visiting the area for a holiday. This allows us to keep a safer environment for the dogs, reducing the spread of viruses and bacteria amongst guests during peak seasons.
4. Quality over quantity is our motto!
5. Consistency is essential for staff and dogs.
